Yes but as already said if you don't go through the insurance and do a major repair your insurance could be null and void Also I would like to see all that damage repaired and painted to a decent standard for £2k....

No at 20 years old you paying insurance in case you hit someone and so you can tax the car and not get stopped by police at his/my age you put a claim in you see your premiums double for a good few years and at what i can guess is the higher side of £1500 thats alot Then drive a cheaper car or suck it up

Unless it is a stunner of a car on very low mileage just take the pay out and walk away, no point getting sentimental over a hunk of metal, plenty more out there!

I'm definately changing the wheels, i think a multispoke in antracite or matt black. The spoiler is a bit loud! It's running at 330bhp at the minute which i'm happy with, but the previous owner thinks with the current setup it should be safe up to 380ish, but i think i'd want uprated conrods in there if i was to push it that high. goiung to talk to a specialist next week and see my options. Would definitely suit less loud wheels and a more subtle spolier for my tastes but each to their own
