    As somebody who worked both for the BBC and LWT for over 15 years

     

    between the two. I was a Head of Department for LWT.

    Is there anything the iWatch will be able to do that your iPhone (that is just in your pocket) can't?

     

    I gave up wearing watches years ago when I got a mobile phone, I can understand people wearing them as a fashion accessory but not as anything else...

    Paddy had been drinking at his local Dublin pub all day and most of the

     

    Night celebrating St Patrick's Day. Mick, the bartender says, 'You'll

     

    Not be drinking anymore tonight, Paddy'.. Paddy replies, 'OK Mick, I'll

     

    Be on my way then'. Paddy spins around on his stool and steps off.. He

     

    Falls flat on his face. 'Shoite' he says and pulls himself up by the

     

    Stool and dusts himself off. He takes a step towards the door and falls

     

    Flat on his face, 'Shoite, Shoite !'

     

    He looks to the doorway and thinks to himself that if he can just get to

     

    The door and some fresh air he'll be fine. He belly crawls to the door

     

    And shimmies up to the door frame. He sticks his head outside and takes

     

    A deep breath of fresh air, feels much better and takes a step out onto

     

    The sidewalk and falls flat on his face.

     

    'Bi'Jesus... I'm fok**in' fo**ed,' he says.

     

    He can see his house just a few doors down, and crawls to the door,

     

    Hauls himself up the door frame, opens the door and shimmies inside.. He

     

    Takes a look up the stairs and says 'No f... Way. He crawls up the

     

    Stairs to his bedroom door and says 'I can make it to the bed'. He takes

     

    A step into the room and falls flat on his face. He says 'f...

     

    It and falls into bed.

     

    The next morning, his wife, Jess, comes into the room carrying a cup of

     

    Coffee and says, 'Get up Paddy. Did you have a bit to drink last Night ?'

     

    Paddy says, 'I did, Jess. I was f...in' pi**ed. But how did you know?'

    Mick Phoned....You left your wheelchair in the pub..!!!!

    They had to send the ECU to America for a reflash after my local garage corrupted it when they cleaned the throttle bodies , so I had the uprev at the same time

    .If I lived closer I would use Abbey for all my work.

    Thats interesting, what make is your ECU, why America?

    I love the GTR but I doubt I'll ever buy one because I personally think they're too big. I can see me getting into all sorts of parking related scrapes etc in one of them. :)

     

    You soon get used to a big car trust me ;)

     

    Much as I admit I miss driving a small sports car, driving a big fast barge is just as much fun :thumbs:

     

    You're probably better at parking than me!

     

    Parking sensors front & rear and cameras help ;)

    What Bluetooth OBD dongle to buy?

    I'm having problems getting mine to connect. I've got mini elm one shown below. I've paired it to my android tablet and the connection starts up but has an ODBII protocol error.

     

    I've tried dash commander, carista and torque and all have a similar connection issue.

     

    Any Ideas?

    Installing almost any HU in a Zed will require soldering or splicing to some degree if you have the Bose amp. There are plenty of threads on here it really isn't that difficult a job, just a bit fiddly due to space more than anything...

    A few tips -

    Locate a decent earth

    Make sure you wire the amp on correctly

    Get the right steering control adapter

    Remember you may need boost the signal to the amp either with in-line boosters or stripping the RCA's (copyright Buster)
