  1. It is quite a knack to get it in and out without making a mess
  2. It's not how bendy the stick is, it's how you dip it
  3. The biggest difference I found was the clutch travel being massively reduced, lighter and can pull off better, but having the gearbox moly has made the changes smoother and 2nd gear in the cold works now!! Mr Niki drove today and was also impressed with it! I'm not going to make any smutty remarks about you being better at pulling off..... But I am not doubting Mr Nikki was very impressed
  4. Fair enough, must be quite different on a facelift, the thing I liked about the mod on an earlier Zed was that it took minutes to do it was so easy...
  5. 2nd thoughts, if you are looking at your life and doing the right things, offer it to a fellow member for what you paid (as you said you got it for a song) and know that you have got out of a tricky situation and also done the right thing In life it is more satisfying to make others happy than yourself at least that is what I have found
  6. If you bought it a month ago put it up for 10% more and be willing to drop a bit, not difficult really is it
  7. +1 to that, if you want quick response that and an upRev will do the job nicely!
  8. I'm not sure you take the existing grille off, I know I didn't on mine but that was a pre-facelift, I can't see why the facelift one would be different apart from the step in the middle
  9. +1 and the manifolds were a bit of a waste of time without ine or the other too....
  10. You sure you are using it right, most CC you engage them, then decide your speed, set them again and then adjust the speed with the buttons.... just sounds like you have maybe missed a step
  11. Yep you only get a slight noise at idle (worse on a cold start/cold day) and if you change up at anything under 2k revs it lets you know about it BIG TIME But it revs so much more freely, honestly if you can put up with a little noise at idle it is soooooo worth it, add on an uprev to sharpen up throttle response and you will be
  12. Always been a fan of thinking outside the box
  13. ^ +1 First check the MOT testing place realise that a Zed has to get hot to pass any emissions test pretty much, not just left to idle but properly warmed up
  14. Glad you like it Nikki, how do you find it compared to the standard one before it started to feel heavy ? I think the lightened fly/single mass clutch is an awesome upgrade for a Zed, it really does improve pick up as long as you can get used to a bit of noise, and anyway the noise makes you keep it above 2k revs which in my book is also a very goid thing
  15. Just flooring it in 2nd in a straight line should bog a Zed down, at lest mine did
  16. Sounds simple enough, I am sure myself and Graham could work it out
  17. Very nice but WOW that a$$ looks big in white
  18. Yep I always wanted a set azure colour coded but never got round to it.... still got 2 seats and 2 doorcards in my garage
  19. have you had it reduced Dave ? If only you knew the hardship
