  1. Nice review, sounds like a perfect commuter vehicle, not sure it would be much fun planning longer journeys around charging points :surrender: but then that isn't exactly the point of a leaf is it...

  2. Sorry to see it mate. Easy fix though, Delivery drivers just don't give a toss.

Saw a Tesco driver just back into a Merc in Tesco car park and then drive off.

I reported it to the Tesco Manager, who wasn't the slightest bit interested.

I left a note on the Merc's windscreen with the reg and the Managers name.

    Never heard anything back. :surrender:

I miss all these stories, I expect Will is getting up to all sorts of fantastic yarns these days...

  3. Mine was wrapped when I first purchased the car by Surrey Vinyl wraps. Didn't like it so it came off. Here's a photo before and after..

Yeah not my cup of tea either Martin, which is why I am saying wrap it, inexpensive and when (sorry if) you think it looks crap a 20 second job to remove it

  4. All depends on your prospective ;) I would imagine some people have worked long and hard and saved for one, quite offensive you should choose to call their car cheap.

I'm talking about the bottom end of the Zed market, those ARE cheap, if you have to work long and hard to afford a 2003/2004 Zed on high mileage then you are in for a shock when it comes to buying tyres or modding surely

The days of 90% of owners on here having to pay £10k + for a weekend car are long gone, just being realistic that's all.

Nothing offensive about something that is cheap, for the performance and looks of a Zed they are ALL cheap in my opinion, performance and handling of a much more expensive car...

  5. at least with wrap it is cheap

Nothing more to be said imho :)

Yep, older 350's are cheap cars so why spend £100s on a real CF bonnet

  6. I would honestly first point at a wheel bearing. Drove my fathers focus recently and yeah the drone from the bearing is quite a loud hum when you get upto speed.

Seems strange at only the 2.5k Rev mark though

Could this be a cause of my problems? Noticed one of my wheel weights seems to have gone missing, although it might of been like this prior to yesterday. Just looks as if it has fell off. 64895c457a57441a81a1e5de373b34a5.jpg

Thanks, let's hope so 👠where would I go to buy the weight that seems to be missing or is this a specialist job?

Any tire place fella, not sure they will 'sell' you a weight they will probably want to rebalance it...

  12. thanks for the advice lads,it was only a thought, keeping my money for m.o.t./some stoptech pads/exhaust and air filter done, then I will remap.

    cheers everybody

This Z bug is catching.OOPS EMPTIED MY WALLET AGAIN! :D:teeth::lol:

Nothing wrong with a decent wrap, don't listen to people saying it has to be a real CF body part, from what I have seen a lot don't fit perfectly, at least with wrap it is cheap and if you don't like it then easily reversible in 20 seconds ;)

  13. I think although it has shades of Jag or the front grill, it is way too German looking, take the leaper off the back and it could be a 6 year old Audi... even the interior has been made very boring, they are after the repmobile market obviously which is fair enough but owning/driving a Jag should be much more about style & purpose than the XE imo

Not so keen on the new XF either, again looking more Germanic that a Jag should...

  14. I can top that, jumping out of our old MX-5 into the Jag.... now that did feel like going from a surf board to skippering the QE2
