Takes me almost 2 hrs to get there, traffic permitting of course. Best thing is, I used cruise most of the way there, managed 32MPG overall for the trip so didn't even cost me that much fuel, plus, there's an epic road just a mile or so from his shop, brilliant new tarmac, perfect visibility and very straight :D Unsurprisingly, the roundabout at the end of this ~1.5-2 mile road is covered in tyre/drifting marks Just a heads up, watch those roads, the fact they are perfect is well known, most of thd roundabouts have cut aways for plod who you won't see until you fly past Once you turn off towards the industrial estate you are clear

It's not that much work, takes longer to remove all the trim than anything else... Best way is seats out, all trim out then away you go, honestly not THAT much work... I used to take my seats out just to hoover the interior

+1 The Bose (yeah right) amp & speakers are utter utter $hite so take this as a sign that your car deserves better

Quite possbily you've melted the amp. This "mod" that you and others have done is simply firing speaker level(high) ouputs into an amp designed to take line level(low). I did mention this a while back, proper RCA boosters are the safe option but cost about £20 for each pair of speakers, splicing the RCAs boosts the volume but be careful

I had older Hertz in my Zed, you won't be dissapointed. I think just have a look at your RCA hack, from memory I had to turn my F900 up to high 50's without any hacking, if yiu have spliced correctly is should be PLENTY loud enough
