^ all the above but also the door seals could be the problem, get some gumi pfledge or similar, softens the rubber and makes a better seal round the doors. You will know if it's a problem if the windows stick on a frosty morning as air/moisture has got between the seal and the window

Depends really on the amp, maybe at the lower end you will have to link everything up separately, if you get lucky the amp may have HDMI pass-through then you connect everything up to the amp and just one HDMI to the telly.... if you go to Richer they are really knowledgable and don't talk down to you like some Hi-Fi places in my experience anyway...
