At the end of the day we have all probably left it too late at a junction either not concentrating or maybe on purpose just misread the road... doesn't make you a #### unless you make a point of always doing it, and drive a BMW or an AUDI

Just watched the caravan vid, totally different situation and VERY dangerous as he was practically stationary in the 1st lane of the motorway you can see another artic having to go round him at the start. No way the lorry with the camera should have given way, not enough room for a mixes let alone a car with a caravan on the back
Another reason I am glad I have a dashcam!!!

It's not difficult, if both lanes are open use both lanes
If everybody didn't queue up in one lane then nobody would be able to shoot down to the front would they?

Very good
I used to love the indecipherable lyrics round on Never Mind the Buzzcocks

A camera is a must these days imo

I can't see what the Merc driver was doing wrong? The lane was clearly there to be used, if everyone wanted to queue up in a line for miles while other sailed past then more fool them... The article is poorly written calling the Merc driver 'sneaky', it would have been totally different and definitely sneaky if the Merc was going up the hard shoulder to avoid a queue but not in this case

Have to agree 4 pipes don't look right on a zed imo.
Look forward to seeing what plans you have for this exhaust
Quads look great on a GTR, looks meatier and would suit a big engined V8 too that was my logic...
one man's meat is another man's poison. It is still a zed and not a Gtr though, guess that I am just used to seeing two pipes on the zed.
Yeah I know what you mean, you get used to what you see as the norm, to me quads look sporty, plenty of sportier models have them as standard. I much prefer the look of smaller quads than mahoosive single cans.... each to their own and all that

You don't remember what the code was do you?
No sorry it was a long while ago
Was something to do with the O2 sensors that's all I can remember which makes sense as the air flow was obviously affected

Even Berks crack, I know from experience

Decats? If so that supports the brace issue mentioned before
HFCs and not sure, they cracked along the seam just like in your pic, got the, welded up and they were fine
Thanks
Well the bloody CEL came back on today!! Did a few shorter trips without a light after the remap, but did 75 miles this weekend on the motorway, and when I started it up again the CEL came back on after a bit. This time the code is P1273 - no other codes but that one. Could it be related to the crack in the welds?
Well my CEL came on now and again before I had the crack welded, once it was done I never saw it again

Funny you say that Dave, I was considering the actual pipes from a Corvette, but I just don't think it works with the Zed styling. I also have another plan for the exhaust, which will require a totally custom bumper, themed on the CS rear but better, much better!
That side of the project will be at the end, just want all the necessary "running" bits in place and working well before cosmetics.
Quad pipes would look and sound awesome, all that popping and burbling

If your looking at 100k 2004 cars then A personal loan over say 4 years would fit the bill, probably cheaper and they won't limit what you can spend it on

Just browsing Autotrader for another member earlier p34nut so thought I'd post this one I spotted in case it's of any interest to you.
Maybe a year older than you're after but you may still be able to get finance on it & the mileage is pretty good for that year of Zed.
I did actually see that one, I remember seeing the gear knob.
The age doesn't really bother me to be honest but I have asked about 3 different traders about finance on cars which were either 2004 or the car happened to be just over the 100k and they have said they can't offer finance on those cars.
They haven't taken my details so it's not a case of not being able to offer me finance. Do most dealers have that benchmark they have to stick to?
Have you tried a bank loan, always seemed to be a cheaper way to do it than car finance

Well good day fellow Zedders..... Today is a GOOD day!
Here we have below some headers! Headers that are of course are made for a 350z but with V6+2 cylinders!
And fitted looking down the side of the wing fitted to the engine.
The exhaust should be round the corner hopefully within the next week or so.
Design will be very similar to the Motordyne setup using cans which won't contain any muffling materials, allowing maximum airflow without going deaf.
Back end will hold two either 4" or 5" slash cut brushed effect tailpipes.
More updates as and when they occur
Nice pipework
I reckon you should have quad pipes at the back just to be different, two just doesn't seem right for a V8

I keep telling Wasso set a realistic end date - June is fine (as long as it is June 2016)
I kept mine longer than Octet - even if not much
But to be honest I really enjoyed building mine - got it even better now as I have the 370z (which I am modding again at the moment) and the Radical so play with one drive the other then switch - great fun all round
Hope to get a new and improved Zed Shed this year as well so I can take on these projects with more vigor (and more space!!!!!!)
Have ye faith, don't forget there's only 3 wires needed to get her started.
I won't be a builder and seller, no way. Seems a pointless exercise to build and sell a car or parts at a loss. At least wait a couple of years then make a loss

A well looked after older car would be my choice but then it's a risk everytime... Mine never used a drop of oil between services on over 100k miles. The difference performance wise DE - HR would hardly be noticeable day to day driving, there are cosmetic differences but I would personally get an older cheaper Zed and keep a bit of cash in my pocket for a nice exhaust or subtle mods

The difference is that most people on here dont like heavily modifed stance
They all prefer normal wheels with a bit of lows which is fine but hey thats not for me!
I luv the big US scene for stance and this is by far getting to it, its not quite there yet but for being 23 and owning a heavily modified 370z i luv i think it shows the luv for a build and project no matter cost! Maybe being young is why i prefer looks than bhp at the minute by whos to judge
I will continue to make this car into what i can but most people just dont like heavy 'stance' at the end of they day
Thanks for the big positive and negitives but as you all say i drive this around i get the pictures taken i luv it.. Spose you could call me an attention seeker but for me i have yet to see most build threads kicking everything off lol
And on that note the kermit 370z shall continue...
Big green sports car with blue wheels that are nearly horizontal... who is calling you an attention seeker
The kicking off wasn't anything to do with your car trust me
Also look forward to seeing your car at a meet

what are the others in your opinion then? be nice to see some others? I was am tempted with tarmac rear diffuser?
I tell you something I like that I've only seen on literally one or two 350Z's is when the rear bumper has been modified to accommodate the 370Z rear diffuser.
Like Darryl's (Jumping350) below...
That is a very cool thing to do imo and it also means you can have two reverse lights with the rear fog light being the original 370Z one after the mod. What do you think?
Does look good I agree there

Mine were pretty milky looking so i rubbed them down with 2500grit wet 'n' dry and then applied clear marine varnish. They came up looking like new.
Yeah no need to buy expensive kits, just some wet and dry and anything abrasive will do the trick, metal polish, rubbing compound even toothpaste! The more elbow grease the better result, if you have a machine polisher then all the better

Hydrodip
Thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92795-aquagraphix-dipped-my-insides-serious-plastic-porn/
Vinyl wrap
Although hydrodipping looks much better than wrap it isn't reversible which can be what puts some people off... mind you if the parts are fubar in the first place I guess it doesn't really matter too much
