  14. Wow that looks stunning mate! Can't wait to see the finished article! I have a quick question (selfish i know), When you removed the intake valve solenoid did you remove the timing chane cover to? or should i say do you have to haha! Keep up the good work mate!
  15. Hey all, so i have the above fault codes and i've nearly solved the problem (i hope). I've tested all my wiring from the solenoid (bank 1 and 2) and everything is fine. So i need new solenoid (dont worry i've pm'd the usual suspects and will be getting one) but before i do that i thought i'd take it out and have a look at it, basicly my question is can just undo the solenoid/housing or do i have to take the timing chain cover off as well? Thanks Boys/girls
  16. Don't worry as soon as i actually buy a house i'll have one! damn city living! I'm gunna move back to the country and have a zed barn
  17. With an exedy OEM clutch and A OEM dual mass flywheel. Cheers mate, that is what i thought, means the trip down to the meet will be an easy one it'll be fine in gear i'd have thought tbh. just no clutch dumbing and things like that
  18. and your excuse for not is??? i don't have a zed shed
  19. What did you replace them with mate? I'm sure Alex or someone will be along soon to give a more accurate answer but i'd have said make sure your gental with it for a few hundred miles and then it'll be fine.
  20. Earlier zeds are known for having rubbish syncro's and there's been quite a few members who've had rebuilds or had them changed out for the newer boxes. I agree you can drive a car fast without raging it, i'd class drifting as raging a car i suppose it all depends on what you class as driving fast and driving slow. I'd have said if your getting less MPG than a supra then your going a lot of city driving or there's something wrong if your driving the car normally and smooth. What kind of MPG are you getting? Also clutch going could be a result of your poor mpg's?
