No not some sort of mind altering substance, but a replacement mechanical differential for my 370 to compliment my other trackday mods. Many thanks to Ewan at Clark Motorsport for doing the group buy. From the website : Kaaz plate type limited slip differentials (LSD's) are precision engineered to endure the tough conditions encountered in motorsport events. Offering reliability while being highly competitive means that Kaaz differentials are used in high level competition cars the world over. This 1.5 way differential is suitable for all types of motorsport. With optimized performance during acceleration it carries a lighter lockup on deceleration which is best suited for traditional road racers. Despite the fact that 1.5 way units have slighter lock up on deceleration, many racers still use this type for aggressive motorsports such as drifting or gymkhana events.
  5. I have nothing but praise for Ewan at Clark motorsport, helpful and friendly and would have no hesitation in dealing with him again.

  13. Hi mate, static about 95Db so well under the 100Db test.
  14. Went to Bedford Autodrome yesterday in the pouring rain, 5 am start to beat the M25 traffic but got there at 7.15 so no complaints there. It was my first time at this particular venue so didn't quite know what to expect but have to say it is very well set up and also pleasantly surprised that tea, coffee and cakes etc. all provided FOC plus if it is pre booked a half hour of tuition bloddy brilliant. The full track is nearly 4 miles long so fairly demanding in terms of stamina and bit hairy in the wet, by the afternoon everything was drying out so speeds started to rise which is when i broke their very low drive by limit of 87.5 Db by less than one DB ( 88.4 ) so was politely asked to come off track for the rest of the day ! So that was that. i would like to go back but the low noise limit has put me off, it's the first time it has ever happened to me and to say i was disappointed is an understatement. My exhaust setup for those interested is : Motordyne XYZ pipe with CAT and ART de cat pipes mted to HKS SuperSoumd Master exhaust so nothing to OTT.

  16. The USA forum is the place to look they have been doing it a lot longer, but don't see many reports of disasters.
  17. Blimey, it's a bit Deja Vu i had a 660xt then traded up to Aprilia Dorsoduro which i ride to work across London most days, it has been very reliable and after 5 years has remarkably little corrosion considering it is an Italian machine.
  18. I had Abbey fit this system for me and got car back today, it is a fantastic system sooo much better than the oem, totally programmable and the added bonus of launch control. I am off to Somerset tomorrow for a proper play. They also did a 4 wheel alignment which has made the Growler feel totally planted. Big thanks to Mark, Scott and Charlie for doing a great job as always, i will post up some pics of the control unit on dash over the weekend.
  19. If this GB is still running i am in for the 1.5 on a 2010 370z.
