  1. RIP Sabine. A tragedy and so young !
  2. I have already ordered mine so a group buy for me is out, but if one of you wants to organize it an wants the email to contact him you can PM me. The cost of the Custom A pillar is $350 plus postage which is about another $125 from Canada, as i said in my original post not cheap !
  3. I have been toying with the idea of having an oil pressure gauge for some time now particularly since the timing cover gasket weakness is now a well known issue and one of the signs is low oil pressure My only problem was where to mount such a gauge with out it looking like a mess ! So When my oil cooler was found to be leaking on my recent service it bothered me that if the leak had been catastrophic instead of minor i would not have realised the problem was there until the low pressure red light appeared on the dash at which point it is too late, so my search for a solution began. By chance i came across an old post on the American forum about a chap in Canada fabricating new A pillars to a very high standard to facilitate gauges, the solution is perfect ( if not cheap ) for any one who wants an extra gauge or two that look to be OEM fitted. The pictures show LHD but he will make RHD as well. http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a542/BespokeDetails/Bespoke Details A-Pillar/aPillar_zpsab027b54.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8052/8441711719_b51e0913d7_z.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8089/8442798820_f71b319690_z.jpg
  4. Me too service every year on the dot regardless of how few miles i cover and most years it is less than 2k.

    10 year service

The OEM gearbox mounting is stiffened with a fairly soft rubber type bushing which is quite pliable and can easily be moved around by hand where as the Vibratecnics mounting has a much more solid and resistant feel which eliminates any gearbox or gear stick movement enabling more precise gear changes, the only downside is possibly slightly more NVH but as my 370 is supercharged and has a mechanical diff with Whiteline poly bushes i don't notice any difference in noise levels tbh.
  6. Abbey did my annual service and 8 year Mot all good with no advisories, the only issue was the oil cooler fitted when i went FI was leaking badly so needed replacing, it looked as though it had been weeping for some time. I had a Vibra - Technics gearbox mounting fitted while the car was on the ramps, it is so superior to OEM, the gear changes are now much more precise. You can see the difference in build quality by comparing the two pictures. The original Nissan mounting can be rotated by hand !
  7. Better call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel is pretty good as well
  8. The final season of Ozark is being aired later this year. We have been enjoying Schitt's Creek lately a very light hearted comedy series and only 20 mins an episode.
  9. The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Great cast and unforgettable soundtrack. It is hard to believe that Clint Eastwood is now 91 !
  10. My mother in Law lives in Chipping Sodbury .
  11. The protective film works very well on the front of our cars, i had it fitted when i first bought my 370 ten years ago now and there are no chips to the front of the car at all, you can see some slight marks on the film from small stones making contact but the paint underneath is still perfect.
  12. As above AF63 *** looked and sounded standard, Fir Tree Road Epsom around 3.30 pm today.
  13. FL57 *** Gander Green Lane around 2.30pm today.
  14. 1. Stutopia x2 2. Kev T 3. 4. 5
  15. What a great attitude the fella has for doing this .
  16. these are Decibel Devil exhaust noise reducers from Advantage Motorsport which might work for you.
  17. If you concerned about stone chips then get a clear film fitted to the front end of the car, i had this done when i bought my 370 new ten years ago and i don't have a single blemish, not cheap but any thing worthwhile rarely is.
