  2. Hi, just wondering if anyone knows of an insurance company that will insure a 350Z temporarily. Reason being, my insurance is due for renewal on 18th of April but my birthday is on the 29th May when i will be 25 years old and should hopefully get even cheaper insurance so i need to find a company that will insure my zed for 42 days. I have spent some time looking and filling out forms on the internet but the companies i have tried don't insure you temporarily if your insurance group is 18 or above grrrrrrrrrrrrr Any help would be much appreciated guys.
  3. Welcome to the forum mate. Try elephant, they seem to do insurance a lot cheaper if you pay the full amount up front rather than monthly payments, they quoted me £1500 if i paid monthly or £840 if i paid the full amount there and then, so i just whacked it on a 0% credit card, that was last year and i had just turned 24 Enjoy your birthday and especially your first drive of the Zed.

  6. Hey Guys!!!! Im new to the site, only joined a couple of days ago, just finding my way around. I've had my 06 plate 350z for a year now and i absolutely love it, its just done 30000 miles and the clutch finally gave up on me the other day. Eurospec in Normandy, Surrey are going to be installing the new clutch, they have given me a price of £1800 including VAT to install an uprated clutch, £350, remove and re-install the gear box, £250 and install a fly wheel from Nissan for a massive £965!!!!! I havn't given them the go ahead to order the clutch and flywheel yet. I was hoping somebody could give me some advice on a good clutch kit as im not too happy at paying £965 for a flywheel from Nissan, im assuming its the same as the original. Are performance clutches any good as Eurospec told me it could be cheaper to have a performance clutch but it would make the clutch pedal a lot heavier and a different response when changing gear, is this true? are they better than standard clutches for road use? do they last as long? PLEASE HELP any advice would be much appreciated, cheers
