  1. YESSSSS!!! they were AMAZING! blonde one.............................. GUNS
  2. I spoke to martinmac about that particular zed last week, he said he would get in touch with his friend to see if he still wanted to sell it. Apparently its just had a new clutch. Im interested in it a lot i think its got everything im looking for, just waiting on finding out the current mileage. Martinmac said he would get back to me, i dont want to be a pain in the arse and keep pestering him though.....................
  3. I like this one but its over my budget http://pistonheads.com/sales/2414139.htm
  4. Must be those new invisible ones
  5. Factory fitted would mean its a genuine kit, which is what im after as the after market kits can have fitment issues. I'd just prefer it to be genuine.
  6. Yeah it does look good, but their not being honest in the advert which isn't a good start.
  7. Yeah he mentioned that one to me but i dont think his friend is selling it at the mo.
  8. Do you mean this one http://pistonheads.com/sales/2655884.htm my concern here is that they have stated that it has a full factory fitted nismo kit. If you look at the front bumper there are no headlight washers so this cant be a factory fit kit??
  9. Just thought i'd put it out there that im still looking for a 350Z with the nismo kit fitted. I've been looking for a while now and have missed out on a few on pistonheads and autotrader for one reason or another Is anyone selling or thinking of selling one, preferably with low ish mileage?

    BMW Mini's?

I had a clunking sound on my mini front end especially when going over uneven ground. turned out to be the drop links.
  11. You could try these http://www.ultrasecuredirect.com/acatal ... larms.html
  12. Not too bad, i've heard prices can vary quite a lot
  13. I made him an offer of which he declined. My budget is £12,000 i made him an offer of £10,500 for this: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p you cant see the damage in the pics but its quite bad for this type of car.
  14. sounds complicated. Black with red on the inside edge of each spoke?
  15. I allowed: Front end £600 Rear bumper adjustment and spray £250 Alloy wheel refurb and 2 new tyres on the rear £600 MOT has 2 months left £50 This is just guessing though.
  16. Red will look and still stand out enough...........
  17. Thats a very good price, unfortunately i dont know anyone like that around here. I looked at a Chilli red zed last weekend and the whole front end needs respraying, plus one corner of the rear bumper. Just looking for an idea so i can negotiate.
  18. Good man, let us know how you get on with it. I think red will suit the car more with the red detail already on the car. (safe bet) But pink will STAND OUT! It has to be illuminous though!
  19. Just wondering if anyone has had the front end of there Zed resprayed, bonnet, front bumper, wheel arches. How much would it cost roughly?
  20. I cant see why not, for what you want to use it for it should be fine. Obviously if you were wanting to do a more professional job you would be better using a gravity fed gun with adjustable and interchangeable nozzles with an air compressor Give it a go
  21. if you had a crappy air compressor could you use a spray gun? I think so, you would just need the spray gun with a bottle attachment. You can pick up basic spray guns fairly cheap though. http://www.screwfix.com/search.do?fh_se ... nt+sprayer Yeah go pink!!
  22. Im a Decorator and i use Nitromors to strip off old paint from wood/metal, like Lexx says it works a treat. The best technique is to brush it on and leave it for about 30-60 seconds and then go over it again with some nitromors on the brush and dab it instead of brushing backwards and forwards, it helps to lift the paint from the surface. Make sure you wear gloves and eywear as it burns A LOT if you get it on your skin and you dont want to lose your eyes! Make sure you wash the wheels over with either white spirit or methylated spirit to neutralise the surface. 240 grade sand paper is a good smooth finishing paper, 180 grade is good for removing slight surface imperfections, also as lexx said, wet and dry would be the best technique to use if your doing it yourself. As for aerosol spray paint it tends to leave a horrible orange peal finish. A spray gun would be the better option you can build up the layers gradually using a cellulose paint. You can also spray the laquer on this way too. I wont bore you any longer, hope this helps.
