It is but i can stretch and i mean streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetchhhhh I would have to sell my 19" LMGT4 alloys i have in my garage and maybe go in with a slightly lower offer if the car is still available.

If anyone is selling or knows where to get one from please get in touch, i know they are very rare! As some may know i've been looking for a facelift nismo zed for a while now and have still had no luck so im considering going down the route of buying a standard facelift zed and putting the kit on myself.

Simple answer is no it can't Yes you can , R35LEE does a swap over service at a price. In regards to the Nismo exhaust, unless you are a total brand whore, there are better and cheaper options, like a Milltek for about £300 less than a Nismo, which is around the £1200 mark. Maybe its best that you just get a Zed first and live with it for a bit first and see how it feels to you, and then get yourself to some club meets and see if you feel the urge to mod yours at all. Cos once you start, it's gonna be hard to stop. Good to know that the interior can be swapped over. Unfortunately i have been known to be a bit of a brand whore but i would also consider the cheaper options depending on the budget at the time. I've owned a zed before i had to sell it this time last year after work looked like it was drying up.(never actually did, one of my worse mistakes) It was an 06 Azure Coupe with full nismo kit, GT pack, Sat nav, the lot. Hence why im looking for another facelift. I didn't do any mods but always wanted to change the exhaust and fit lowering springs.

Thanks Wasso, that y-pipe could be an option for me. Has anyone made what can be considered the "perfect" exhaust sytem for the zed? Might be a stupid question but can the pre face lift centre console be changed over for the facelift one?

Thanks Ricey, that makes a bit more sense now. Unfortunately i've never met a bung happy MOT test centre so i might have to do without the de-cats. I think i want the facelift post 06 version, the interior is a lot more appealing to me. Just got to find one................

If only i knew what all this meant I've never done any engine mods to any of my previous cars, im new to the engine mod side of things, i know absolutely nothing When i finally get another zed, I would like the nismo exhaust, if i go for a pre facelift i will be changing the headlights and rear lights for the face lift ones. De-cats do these get through the mot?

I hear genuine Nismo kits are hard to come by these days? An older model does have its pros, for example the road tax. But the interior looks nicer on the facelift model and i prefer the headlights and taillights. You say older ones are better to mod engine wise, why is this?

I've considered this as an option but i dont think my budget will stretch to buy a kit and have it sprayed after purchasing a standard zed. I've got about £12k-£13k to spend in total. How much would a nismo kit cost me to buy and spray?

How would you say it compares to the zed, fuel wise and overall driving experience?

Im looking for a zed with the nismo kit fitted, preferably facelift. I find the R32 quite appealing because of the extra seats and boot space and you still get the speed to go with it.

Thats the only issue i have that golfs are quite common and having owned a zed before i do like the fact that people stop and stare.

Im looking for a zed at the moment but im also considering buying a Mk4 Golf R32, i was just wondering if anyone on here has ever owned one and can give me an idea of what they are like to drive and live with?

He didn't seem very passionate about the car which worries me also, and like you say driving around on a bald tyre isn't good, not what you would expect from a guy who is in the RAF and training to be a helicopter pilot, you would think his vehicle checks and maintenance would be spot on!

I'm having doubts about it now, after getting opinions from you guys. I don't want to spend £11k of my hard earned cash on a potential money pit. I was allowing £1k to put the body work right in my budget. Who knows the clutch could go the day after I buy it, costing more money. I was just looking at it in the way that I would be picking up a facelift model for quite a good price.

No its a private seller. It does have a good service history and was serviced the week that i went to view it. He said he had bought the car with the scratches already on it, and has owned it since 10k miles apparently he got it from s2000-4u.co.uk.

No haven't tried nissan dealers, could they source one do you think?

Im looking for a facelift with the nismo kit really, i just love the look of the car with the kit fitted. Martinmac kindly pointed me in the direction of his friend with a 55 plate chilli nismo a few weeks back, i just prefer the facelift interior and exterior improvements.
