Thats seriously cheap!!

Well lets hope they do a good job on mine, im dropping it down there tomorrow morning so they can make a start on it. I'll make my expectations clear when i drop it off. I was feeling quite positive about it, until this evening, after all i thought they came highly recommended.

Would the type of paint being used affect the match quality, for example between metallic or just a gloss finish?

How good was the colour match on your bonnet?

I see what you mean............ Im going to make sure he knows the colour match has to be spot on before they start. I think Octet had his nismo kit sprayed by them and his looks good. Has anyone else had any colour match problems?

Oh really, i've heard good things about these guys though!? What colour does Wasso have, some colours are a pain to match aren't they?

The whole car is being done, apart from the door shuts, so it shouldn't be an issue..........................should it?

That GTR colour is lovely! Im not doing a full, full respray as the door shuts etc aren't being done, hence the similar or same red colour. (it basically needs a respray because the bodywork is in a bad way)

This is true, im just looking for opinions really.

Paint can crack and split under intense heat, especially if moisture has got under the surface of the paint if the paintwork is slightly split, once it gets under and you have a lot of heat drawing out the moisture it can cause paint to crack and split, lifting the paint from the surface. Its just what it looks like from the pics, is the paint lifting all the way along the scratch, or just one end? A bonnet respray will probably cost in the region of £300. A member on here (Coldel) has just had his rear bumper sprayed black and the match is perfect. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=51660

Quality job!

On saturday I'm taking my zed to RT-Performance to have a full re-spray. Im going to keep it the same colour, Chilli red. When i had a chat with Taras last saturday he offered me two options, he offered me the option of going for a metalic red or having the original gloss chilli red! Im not sure which one to go with......................

All good mine is still going in on Saturday. It will be there for a week or so, so I know the feeling you mean I'm going to be like a kid at Christmas once the work is done and I get to pick it up. I've only had it 2 weeks and haven't really driven it much anyway. I don't want to show it off until it looks perfect.
