you have to be honest with these insurance guys, otherwise its only going to backfire one way or another. What company was that? There are ways to save money, like adding a female named driver to the policy, i do this with mine by adding my girlfriend and it always knocks off at least £150-£200 at best. Shop around so you have something to negotiate with, they want your money at the end of the day. Elephant or admiral could help you out, but you generally have to pay it all upfront to make it cheaper.

Im 26 with sky, paying a lot less than 1400 for fully comp. Any particular reason why they have cancelled your insurance as i dont think new insurance companies will like that or did it just expire? Do you have any years No claims?

Where can i get some rubber corner pads for the nismo spoiler? I had some on the spoiler before i had it resprayed and i noticed tonight when cleaning the car they were no longer there. Can i get spare ones from anywhere? Any help fully appreciated.

Got mine from ebay too. Paid about £17 for a laser engraved twist back holder. Originally bought a 350z customised tax disc, but the lettering was just badly cut out white stickers, it looked completely crap so i sent it back. The laser engraved ones are much better quality.

Hi Keith, Have you managed to resolve the nismo decal issue yet? I know that the company was called KD-Racing.com specialising in car decals. Tried there website but its underconstruction unfortunately. Let me know if the above are any good.

I'm more a fan of the burgers if im honest. I like the black 350 that looks but the Z looks too big and would probably look better in the centre, rather than offset.

No worries mate As long as the work gets sorted and done properly then thats all that matters. Sounds like you have a good deal with the new clutch, as these are quite expensive to replace, if i remember right my Clutch and Flywheel cost me around £800 fitted, which was cheap compared to the price from Nissan, which was a massive £1800 ZMANALEX sorted me out with the parts in the end.

On mine im sure they are screws rather than clips holding it on, on the inside of the door, these are also painted the same colour as the skirts, probably done when it was sprayed. Maybe send Taras at RT Performance to see if he has a better idea as he recently had mine off for spraying.

Whats their excuse this time!!? For the amount of work they have to do they sure are dragging out fixing it!! Make sure you get all te receipts for the parts they have fitted, for fitment and part guarantee purposes.

Sorry dude, but the left hand tip definitely sticks out more than the right hand side. So your the lucky buyer of webbers zed then? I saw it when i drove up to his place to pick up the 19" LMGT4's, on the same day you were collecting it, he was in the middle of cleaning it up for you.

I recently bought a facelift zed with 39k miles on it, with full nismo kit. The bodywork wasn't in great shape, it basically had a mark of some sort on every panel, but i bought it because it had a full service history and drove perfectly. It was what i wanted and i got it for a good price, just had it fully resprayed and its perfect now. Im not telling you to go out and buy a scratched up one, but like the others have said if it has a good service history and drives fine you shouldn't worry about buying a zed with higher mileage.

+1 They should have given you a price to include the full repair after explaining that it will cause damage to surrounding areas. If they know what their doing they wouldn't have given you a price for just the spoiler after clearly being aware of the damage it will cause. Just seems a bit pointless to me to do half a job for someone and expect them to be happy. Depending on the original price you paid assuming it didn't include repairing surrounding areas £100 is cheap to get it fixes but I would expect the spoiler to be resprayed aswell because the finish isn't good at all and you paid originally for it to be done properly.

Mitre mate is the stuff, You can get it at Homebase/B&Q etc. +1 Yep should be able to get it in either homebase or B&Q. Let us know how you get on.

You could try Mitre mate, sticks like Sh*t to a blanket. (try not to get it on you finger) consists of a spray can and a liquid apply the liquid to one side and spray the other, instant chemical reaction. Carpenters at work use it a lot on kitchen cornice and MDF.

What have they been doing with it for the last 3-4 weeks just looking at it, a bit of a joke really thats its still not done! I'd personally be really pi**ed off with them right now especially as you say they should have been done before you bought it.

Sorry to hear you have had your zed in and out of the garage, lets hope they do a proper job this time and sort everything out. You should ask for an extended warranty! Did you ever get that split sorted on your bonnet?

I also saw one of these today heading out of Mclaren HQ in Woking about an hour ago, looked exactly the same as that one.
