  1. I need to get out with my 550D and take some nice shots if im going to stand a chance in the comp. Cool pics mate
  2. Like the first one mate, really cool pic.
  3. I think bodyshops have different opinions on this depending on whether the car has been baked or not. I was told a 6 week period, but my car wasn't baked to help with the hardening process. The laquer is a 2 pack paint, some info on this site will help: http://www.adocars.com/elf-ado/elf/paint.htm I think you will be ok if you take it somewhere where it can be baked then this will definitely help with hardening of the paint. I personally wouldn't try and polish it until a month or so after.
  4. I'm probably wrong then. Baking will definitely speed up the drying and hardening process. Most paints these days are water based or Acrylic so they don't need a long time to dry but still need a good amount of time to completely cure and gas out. This is why you shouldn't polish or wax the freshly painted area until around 6 weeks after the paint job, although this could possibly be reduced with the use of an oven.
  5. I might be wrong but I don't think your meant to bake the new type of paints.............
  6. didn't realise I did that!
  7. In that case I could get my exhaust sooner rather than later!
  8. In that case I could get my exhaust sooner rather than later!
  9. I would wait until spring mate, just incase it gets completely battered with grit over the winter. It takes a while for the paint to fully harden and gas out, around 6 weeks i think, so it may chip easier over the winter period. But at the end of the day you need to use the car and will the oppurtunity for you to leave it in a bodyshop for a week come up again in the spring?
  10. Tarmac, please tell me you accept credit card.......................
  11. To me that looks like a very good deal, as long as it has a good service history and it's all in good condition cosmetic and mechanically wise. Can't believe how much the price has dropped on these cars! There should be a buyers guide on here somewhere, use the search box and you should be able to find it.
  12. I agree with you on this bit! I've given away more penalties in the first 6 games of FIFA 12 than I ever have on FIFA 11.
  13. Ruined Fifa 12!!! In what way? I think it's much better than FIFA 11, it's a lot more realistic!
  14. Nismo bodykit all day long!!! Completely transforms the zed into a very looking car! Rear strut brace is just plain and simply ANNOYING!!!
  15. +1 on that mate. Needs something shiney to make it stand out more. Looks very stealth, is it paint or a vinyl wrap?
  16. The price is in the OP, £875 delivered or for details.
  17. Invidia or nismo, invidia or nismo....................i cant decide
  18. I think it needs lowering.............
  19. You should be able to wash it, just don't use and polish or wax on it for the time being.
  20. How much does this approximately cost for a bonnet, wings and bumper application? I'm planning on getting this done too... Send Taras at RT performance a message for an idea on price for this. He does the Hexis Clear vinyl wrap.
  21. Sounds This is on my list of possible exhausts!
  22. 6 weeks i think to allow the paint to 'Gas Out' and fully harden.
  23. I recently had my car completely resprayed and it came back completely polished and waxed as so should yours. I haven't had to polish or wax mine yet, but im quite anal so i will be doing it again before the winter sets in. The best thing to do is ask the guys at the sprayshop when you are able to polish and wax it again. As lexx says people have different opionions on what products to use, sometimes it best to just try some and see what you think. Wax wise i use Autoglym HD wax, which i really like but im sure there are people out there that will disagree and recommend another product, such as dodo juice, which comes up a lot on this site.
  24. I think this has been covered on here before..............
