Sounds good! Say i wanted to lower the ride height when they are on how would i know when to stop winding the shock down, or how much pressure they should have on them? Does that make sense? I have a scorpion on the way which will be mated to my motordyne xyz pipe so its all go for me to, hope its not to loud!

I had a clio 172 cup with 190bhp and a set of coilovers on and that thing was amazing i was 100% in love with it, very very good cars. This little car would really wipe the smile from alot of "fasts" cars ! Unfortunatley i crashed it ( not doing anything stupid i might add) and my wife almost lost her foot because of it

That looks good man! That is low at the front I have looked at the bc instructions and wandered how you get them set up? Are they pre set and then if you want them lower you measure each and wined down the shock and spring together?

Thanks ruddles , yes i quizzed you about your coilovers and now have a set ready to go on! Cant wait! I think i will put the coilovers on and go from there. Any chance of putting up a few more pics of yours ? Have you had the alignment done yet?

Hi just after anyone who has done this. I was thinking about getting a set of wheels for the zed but at the moment cant justify it as i have just bought new tyres and had the rays done in gloss black. I am running 20mm spacers front and 25mm rear already and have a set of bc coilover to go on. I will be lowering about 10mm at the front and 25mm at the back and would love to have that "fat" stance that 30mm spacers would give, but would i need to have the arches rolled and even after that would that be enough? Also would running 30mm spacers on the rear have any negative effect on the cars suspension or bearings? And last of all where can i get a set of 30mm spacers from? Thanks for any help

I have been in a few clio v6 255 bhp ones and i was not that impressed really , engine sounded nice but the zed ( i have a 313 bhp model ) felt quicker to me. They are also more expensive to run and maintain than the zed , speaking to a few clio v6 owners. ...... but they do look bonkers , a proper nutty car! I would say the zed is way ahead of the clio in pretty much all areas

Could i do this to my 57 zed as i would like my biting point to be an inch lower. Clutch is all fine just seems to bite a little to high for me.........

I had a quote for this to be done to my front bumper but as i can get the bumper resprayed for 150 i didnt bother as they wanted 220 for the armour stuff.

This is what worries me about just slapping a set of springs on. I wont know if i need all the other stuff until its all on, and if i do need arms/bolts it will work out more money than putting coilovers on and running them slightly higher! I am not really after the car to handle any better as i feel for me it is good enough but just want to lower 10mm at the front and 25mm at the rear to just get that stance. AAAAAAAHHHHHHH
