I did similar last year, a lovely place to stay is Lochcarron, which is only a few miles from the Beallach Na Ba road to Applecross which is a must drive even without the Zed! Great views from the top across to Skye. This is the place I stayed in and it's highly recommended... http://www.lochdubh.com/

Zero for me...had 6 until recently, 3 for doing 79 in a 60 zone and 3 for.... cough cough ...parking on a pedestrian crossing! THE SHAME! Since getting the Zed I drive a lot more sensibly, can't imagine anything worse than losing your licence and being unable to drive it!

Shocking behaviour friddela, I hope it was a one off! I have been tempted to try it, cos I've been trying to get a nuke for ages with no success. My best kill streak is 19, I probably just need to get better with the chopper gunner but I've only had it twice so it's hard to practice! Day off tomorrow, might well be on all day. I'm gonna do it!

Haha yeah I love a bit of booster hunting myself! I've been trying out a lot of different set ups recently in order to complete challenges and get experience using different weapons. Because I don't want to hurt my team's chances of winning while I'm attempting these things, I tend to do it in Free For All. EVERY other game has boosters in it! It's unbelievable. I must admit one of the challenges I was trying to accomplish was to get Danger Close Pro so SEVERAL boosters got noob tubed!
-
I'd say less noob tubing in hardcore but you tend to find better players. 1 to 2 shot kills with just about every weapon which is better because as Neo says there is nothing more infuriating than hitting someone repeatedly in the chest and them killing you!

Apologies if this has been posted already but it looks awesome!

Modern warfare 2 **** PS3 Gamer Tag*****

Thanks bud! I didn't play video games at all until this year when I decided to get a PS3. I've since become addicted to MW2 (don't even play anything else) and have racked up about 7 days of gameplay on it. So true what you say about everyone playing their part and stopping someone's killstreak can be very important. I was playing demolition the other day and got in a one on one which I lost (should have won) ...next thing he had a chopper gunner in the air and I was thinking I should have prevented that! Catch you online soon for a game or two -

wasso, I should maybe have told you how garbage I am at this game before teaming up! Sorry I bailed on you, I had a prearranged game with some friends who are even worse than me and didn't want to lower the standard for you any further! I'll get practicing, don't want to let clan 350Z down! -

Just found this thread...Yeah I know I'm nearly a year late! I was playing MW2 on PS3 yesterday and a guy came into my lobby with the gamertag Nismo31 so i got to thinking that he/she might have been on here. I was gonna post a new thread for gamertags but for once used my noggin and the search function! So if ANYONE is still playing this game I'm going to add you all when I get home from work tonight. 1. It was fine for me...Ayr is nothing like Glasgow for traffic on the roads although it will be worse when the schools go back. It's only a 6 mile cycle so I was at work in 20 minutes, faster than I can drive in, park and then walk to work! Plus I don't have to worry about my precious zed getting dinked in the car park since it's sitting safely at home Best thing to do if you're not too confident on busy roads is take your time at junctions and roundabouts and if you ever feel like you're in danger get off and walk! Reflective clothing is a good idea and I also consider padded shorts a must. My bike is a 1.5, it's kind of erring towards the budget end, I got it for £600 about 3 years ago. I tend to do 30-50 miles a week (will be more if I start cycling to work regularly) and it does all I need it to. And Jay, you're so right...I'll be back in the car at the first sign of so much as a stiff breeze
-
Funny you mentioning this today, I just cycled to work this morning for the first time in years! Don't know much about Ribble bikes, I've got a Trek road bike (a brand I would definitely recommend) but I looked the Nero RC up and it looks the business

I would if I could but I'm playing at it, doubt the bride would be too happy if her band pulled out now!
-
Jay, do you mean me or Paul? I can't make it anyway, I have a wedding unfortunately...

Looks awesome Paul, the colour is incredible. Looking forward to seeing the finished results and hopefully see it in the flesh at a meet!

That's the same problem I had with mine, it was infuriating! Check out these guides from Rob_Quads. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403 viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31260&p=457835 They detail everything you need and how to connect it all up. I followed them and found the install to be pretty straightforward. I see the unit has 2V preouts which is the same as mine and to be honest it's a little quiet, I have to run my head unit at near full volume all the time. If you like it loud you'll need to get a line booster. I'm still considering whether to do that or whether to just upgrade my amp and speakers. Hope that helps. Good luck!

This is why I'm a single man. NOBODY else gets to drive my zed!

Spotted last night, think the plate was **** ZFA.
-
Spotted in the car park at the front of Mar Hall Hotel, Bishopton on Saturday night, didn't catch the plate.
-
Gotta love Shooting Stars!

Could be a warped brake disc...I had that problem last year. Same as narcotix, new discs and pads sorted it.
-
Caroline, the bike rack looks great...I'm definitely considering getting one myself. Thanks for posting the write up

Hi, economy wise 30mpg is attainable but only if you're cruising on the motorway most of the time. Any town / city / spirited driving is going to cause the mpg to fall off pretty rapidly. I bought my car in Preston and drove it back to Ayr doing a steady 70 all the way home. I checked the mpg and was astonished to see it at 33! It quickly decreased to around 26 and now usually sits around 24 and to be honest I drive slow compared to most! Good luck with finding the right car for you. PS Love your RX-7!

Welcome and nice choice!

Yeah Rob you're right, mine probably was right on the limit. I just looked at that guide and I'm a bit worried now! Haha I'll be driving home at 20mph tonight and printing that guage off! Stesrg, ignore my advice, better safe than sorry!
