Have to agree with Sarnie on this one. As much as you'd like to think it was a move across, its actually a move down. Which is something I don't understand as a petrol head, as you will constantly be nagged by the under performance of it compared to the zed, when those little moments on the road come and you have a little tussle with someone. In your position I'd much rather drive a 1.4 fiesta knowing I was sorting out my finances and was going to be driving a real £20k sports car in a year's time when I was ready again. Than drive around in an s2000 knowing I wouldn't have another real sports car for a long long time. Now every time your in a little race, you will think...'oh if I was in the Zed, I'd have had him'. Bad comparison to be honest, you could import an R32 for 20 grand that would beast both of them up and down a 1/4 all day long. I'd rather see the full picture.

Wheels are tricky mate. I think a lot of people on here, and even more so on my350 make the mistake of buying wheels which are so fancy to the point where they detract from the car its self. Which is opposite of what you want. They should compliment the main feature, the car! Some wheels I think would suit your zed.

Usually I find the instalments price increase too be far too much. Admiral quoted me 600, the best I could find at the time, and then when I queried instalments, it was quoted at around 890, something like 29% APR. It was a joke. Good job with CK though, I'll have to try them next time, as I don't always find my self with £600 laying around to hand.

Asda doing a good wee deal on Microfibre towels, and Washmits. £2 for these (6x microfibre towels). Which retail at £6.07 on HERE Also £2 for these. Which retail at £4.58 on HERE I dunno how good they are, as I havn't tried them, but just stocked up on towels since their cheap. If I don't use them, my mother will!

Last thing I would do if had financial difficulties, would be buying another Japanese car like the ones you mentioned. I sat and counted how much I spent on my old GTIR and it came to the price of my current Zed. I think if you want it to be financially safe, then you would be best going for a wee run around. Best thing I ever did was buy an old 1993 clio for £800, insurance £200, and £25 in fuel lasted me a month. For 2 years it allowed me to focus my money on other things, get my bills and outgoings sorted and eventually let me get back into the game, affording the Zed All the best with your decision mate, hope it works out well for ya!

Not wishing to hurt Ian's feelings or anything but I don't think the single exit looks right, it imbalances the symmetry of the rear end quite a bit. Maybe if it was made single exit from the factory I wouldn't have ever know it any other way, but I just cant get my head round it going from twin to single!
