I've actually been doing a lot of research on the whole painting thing, It's something id love to get good at in the garage. I don't think I could justify 3k on a respray, plus doing it yourself would be a great sense of satisfaction. Might be dreaming tho, as the more I read, the more technical it can be! Plenty time to practise though!

These are the sneaky ones. I can understand fixed camera's, but these ones aren't deterrent's, they are just cash cows. Only ever caught speeding once in 8 years and it was by one of these, when I overtook a car in a 70 zone, was caught doing 79 by it. Just totally sickened by it. TBH what's needed is for folk to contest such silly fines and go to court, and if a jury of your peers used it's noggin then they could have the case thrown out for being absurd. As far as I'm aware, a jury has more power than the judge and if every jury chose not to convict drivers for silly sentences, then maybe less of them would end up in court.

Nice Jay, don't think I ever seen your car. I really like the OEM wheel, albeit its a bit thin to hold, but I think its snazzy.

Like any projector, quality during the day is somewhat reduced. The higher the lumens output of the projector, the easier it is to overcome this to some degree, however as screens are grey or white, then ambient light will completely screw the contrast of the picture leaving it washed out regardless of projector. (look at pubs using projectors for football matches during the day) Not really that much of an issue for me as it will mostly be used during the evenings. Though in summer that still means it is fairly light outside and blocking the light will be necessary. I plan on having a pull down blackout blind behind the screen on the window itself to completely darken the room when needed. I quite happily use a HD projector over a plasma TV these days. I rarely watch TV unless it's a movie, and the blackout blind, and motorised projector screen + ceiling mounted projector are just perfect, you have so much more space and the TV isn't a focal point of the room. Love the setup!

Id fight that crap, the problem was non-existent before you handed it over to them, and they return the car broken. Get them to fix it. If it was handed back with a huge dent in the panel would they say tough sh!t about that as well?

Also try living up here, like when you've missed a really good Scottish football game and you turn the news on to see highlights, you get highlights of every game played in England, even the absolute dross of the English league, and then you get a big boring bloody chart with all the Scottish game results, not one goal showed.

I'll probably be supporting Germany again, their an old favourite of mine from back when I was a kid and used to love seeing Rudi Voller and the likes. Their slow and boring to watch, but technical and tactical.

Agree'd, China make a fortune off the west, they wouldn't want to upset that. But although SK/NK have been bickering for years, I don't think SK has ever had some solid proof that they can put before the UN in order to have action/sanctions taken. I don't think they can just ignore this...

Why doesn't it prove anything? It's better than a quarter mile, as it shows the car in its true form, after several laps, not just one top gear lap, they are all racing under the same track conditions, only real variable is the drivers, which is a big factor true, but I think they are all good enough on that track that there's not much in it between them. I've driven an S2k and I thought it was mince, I don't like having to ring a car's neck just to get performance out of it, so yeah sure, its a 'proper sports car' in the right rev band. IMO it's still a step down :P
