  1. I much prefer progressive brakes!
  2. See even the bloody JDM models do it! I checked paulie's GT4 custard and that one does it too...
  3. So far every Z i have been in heard of checked and driven have all had electric folding mirrors, and the drivers side is slower than passengers by half a second! VERY annoying! LOL please confirm it is the same on your Z's! Any fix?! Sorry if you just noticed this on your Z im pretty sure its the same on every Z after asking a few people... hope i didnt just point somthing out that will bug you like hell!
  4. So its defo those belts causing the problem? how are they related to my steering?
  5. Lots of folk on here happy with the Falkens - ignore him! I dont know why people bang on about more power and buy bigger brakes and run falkens. My dads s class has them on but i wouldnt put that on a sports car IMO of course. Nobody was banging on about bigger brakes and more power or falkens really, just pointing out from the reviews and charts falkens come up better than the avons.
  6. Tryed a search and couldnt find anything related to my problem so... somtimes when i turn the wheel on my Z i can hear this ever so tiny squeak as if the steering wheel needs oiling or somthing, but it doesnt feel like its inside the cabin more in the engine bay... hmm i dont know... no idea anybody had somthing similar?
  7. according to this: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Nissan/350z.htm falkens are better
  8. Go for it! Get it looking miiiinnnt I did like it, nice Z!
  9. Worse things can happen, its part of owning ANY car mate dont worry too much

  11. Haha i only just looked at one in hounslow but if you need anybody to go urgent i can make it down there! Please bear in mind this is over an hour away from me. But i will go if your serious. Hopefully there are members who are willing to go who are closer! Cmon people forum spirit.
  12. Paulie keep us updated on your Z i miss it and its not even mine
  13. Just to let you all know i agree with you all but im just posting what the guy said... Ive already ordered my falkens
  14. We have enough folk on here who have had the same problem, followed the advice and then had no problems to know it works. We're not physicists talking about theory here. I'm hoping that's a rhetorical question... My point is that even if the rubber is different i shouldnt of had problems at 60.
  15. Spoke to a guy today who said all you guys are talking @*!# and are extremeists talking about the nth degree... apparently the car should be fine? What can i say to this? And how can a little bit of rubber mean the car goes wobbly around a motorway bend at 60 that is a bit odd... surely if i switch to falkens they wont enable me to go 120 around the corner?!
  16. Its hard to find a reliable mehcanic! I think i will be making my way to abbey if i ever need work done on my Z as they know what they are doing!
  17. Im glad your happy and everything went nice and smooth! Does it drive well? Weird that its sooo far away now after i saw it like a week ago!
  18. Your probably right but i think because of my bad experience with them im going to ditch the avons and go all round falken 452's in the long rong they are also cheaper to replace when the rears run out of rubber. So look out for some avon z33 rears basically brand new if your interested!
  19. So maybe to save myself some £££'s i should just replace the fronts to avon Z33? Just i find if anybody actually thought they were any good more people would use them? And according to this chart they are pretty low down but cost more than the falkens on camskill? http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Nissan/350z.htm
  20. Worrying I shall get the falkens ordered up today! Unless sombody thinks its not the tyres? Im a bit peed off by this, the dealer has actually created more hassle for me than i needed but oh well cant wait to get the falkens on now and thats another 450 down the drain
  21. the fronts have about 4mm left - bridgestones Yeah i did post up some pics from my iphone but ive been lazy to get some quality ones up! Will do soon! I will get some falkens all around and will double check pressures tonight
  22. DIY This guide is awesome: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13777&p=311694&hilit=refurb+guide#p311694 EDIT: my bad i was in search and forgot this thread was a lil old
  23. +1... this is usually a symptom of incorrect front vs rear tyre sizes, rather than mis-matched makes. 225/45/18 up front and 245/45/18 at the rears. Hmm, you have the right sizes then. How many miles have they done? If less than 500 they might not be scrubbed in enough. Otherwise its down to the compounds somehow causing you problems. 700 miles done on the rears, dont know about the fronts as i only had the car 700 miles ago i reckon i need to change all four corners anyway to a better tyre Everybody seems to think its the mix of tyres
  24. Cheers yokomo i actually have looked in to that system quite a bit and i like the optional plug-in alpine navi, gives you alot more flexibility! But i dont think it has tv? Or do you have to have the tuner added in seperately?
