Hi, Anyone got 20mm spacers with the 30mm Eibach springs fitted on rays? Pretty specific I know, but I thought someone might have done it. Checked Google images but it's full of Americans banging on about their 'tight ride'...gaaaaaay

By the way, I had a play with this at the weekend. The phone cradle popped off (it was a genuine Nissan unit) and revealed the bare cradle for the bluetooth box underneath, which is cool. I'll see about picking up a bluetooth box soon. Thanks for everyones help.

Cheers guys. Had a look at the hubs last night and I can't see any spacers, will look at dropping the car by an inch or so and fitting 20mm spacers in the next few months I think. How much do the spacers affect handling? Extending the wheelbase on my old go kart improved grip but slowed turn in, is that about right?

Hi, I know this seems stupid, but I bought my zed from a dealer who didn't really know what had been done to it. It's got lightened flywheel/sports clutch, scorpion exhaust and tinted windows. I saw some pictures of a standard GT with rays the other day and it looked higher than mine. Does this look standard or lowered to you? Any simple way for me to check? Cheers

Alright chaps, My recently acquired UK GT has got a mobile phone kit installed, it runs into the cubby box between the seats (behind gear lever). It looks to be for an old Nokia 6310 (I say old - 2003 when the car was made) and I want rid of it. My thinking is, will this be wired to the standard Bose 6 disk changer HU, and if so can I do something clever with connecting an Ipod...probably not I rekon. Anyways, is this an after-market Halfrauds jobby or did Nissan offer this as a luxurious option for all the sales reps that bought these on hire purchase?? Cheers, Stu

I bought my 2nd zed last month after selling my first one in 2008. Sold a standard jap 03' with 20k miles for £12,000 in July 2008 (Private) Bought a uk GT 53' with 68k miles for £9700 in Dec 2009 with S/S exhaust, sport clutch & flywheel (from dealer) Newer car, UK GT, few extras for £3300 less than I paid for my last one. I looked about for months and ended up going with a dealer, as they need to move their stock on quickly, not hold out for silly money like a lot of the private ads I saw. BTW - Not fussed about higher mileage as its just had P3 service, tyres & clutch done. Only do 4k miles a year, so by the time I sell it will be average mileage. Don't know if that will help anyone - but there we go

I wonder if I could get some carbon bits made up by a local company that used to do bike fairings for me. Fancy a carbon 'Z' rear strut brace cover for the boot too. The evo 8 rear diffuser is the look I'm after. Saw some guy post pics of a blue z with a full white bodykit on here. a carbon one of those would be lovely.

If i'm honest, it's the price of that ebay one that puts me off. I've bought a lot of carbon bits for the bikes in the past, and i should be able to get something else for a lot less than £600+. Arhh, anything to keep me away from Christmas 'come dine with me' on the telly.

I've just gone with Bell, @ 22 with 1NCB and 5 points with CD10 (Careless driving - don't ask) it was £1250. Didn't take into account my 5 years NCB on motorbikes though - the slags. Mate at work rekons putting a biddy (Mum or Dad) as a named driver reduces the premium, but I found out after I paid and want to try and forget about the rape that is insurance.

Picked my current zed up on Wednesday after 2 years since my last one. Sports Clutch, unfamiliar car....snow! I'm not ashamed to admit - I walked to work this morning. Mind you, this time last year I was riding my R1 80 miles a day to London and back, so not a complete pansy-boy.
