  1. Just seen the pics mate, car looks great. Hope you find somewhere to machine the flat disc wheel centres like the LMGT4s. Also think getting them done in satin silver or black would be a good shout. I wanted to do that when I had them but as you know, my priorities changed rather quickly! p.s. get well soon
  2. And some more of wheels on car (please don't laugh at AA truck!!!)
  3. Hi all, I'm selling a set of 4 19 inch deep dish staggered wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. I had these wheels fitted to my zed as a low cost alternative to the LMGT4s I couldn't afford! Big dish on rears and mega wide 10.5 inch rears made for a good stance with no spacers required. I think they are Dare Drift Heros, but not sure. Fronts are 19 x 8.5JJ fitted with 245/40/R19 Bridgestone Potenzas. The edges of the tyres are worn due to tracking on the car these were fitted to before I had them - please PM me for pictures. Centre tread is very good although I don't have tyre depth gauge. Rears are 19 x 10.5JJ fitted with 275/35/ZR19 Bridgestone Potenza AM9. Rears are getting low but have even wear, please PM me for pictures of remaining tread. 3 of the wheels have curbing marks and some minor paint lifting. The wheels clean up very well and look great on the car, but these are used so please bear this in mind. I bought the rear tyres as part worns as the tyres that came with the wheels when I bought them triggered the traction control (due to change in rolling radius I believe). the 35 profile tyres now fitted DO NOT affect TC so are ready to go straight on a zed. Incidently, these tyres are made specifically for the Aston Martin DB9, so are a top quality tyre. The centres in picture taken on grass are the standard alloy ones, although I removed these and fitted the Nissan centre caps. I intended to buy some flat disc centres (as with LMGT4s) but never got round to it. I've got plenty of pictures of the wheels on and off the car so please let me know if you'd like me to send any to you. £450 ono, cash on collection from Billericay in Essex. I may be able to drop them off depending on where you are, so send me a PM and I'll see what we can do. Happy to package for courier, but buyer to arrange. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Stuart
  4. Hi all, Pair of decats for sale with gaskets. I bought them from a fellow forum member a while ago, but never fitted them to my car (long story!). Very high quality parts, lovely welding and gaskets are good to go. I think the chap I bought them from imported them from the states, but not 100% sure. Don't know what brand these are, sorry. Anyway - £60 collected from Billericay in Essex or £70 posted to your door in a free cardboard box - oh yes! Any questions, please let me know. Stuart p.s - took the pictures a while ago but they have been stored in doors since and are EXACTLY the same as in pics.
  5. Shame I spent all my modding budget on a new engine They look great though, good stealth mod without the other half noticing too - unlike the V2 front bumper
  6. Bob are yours OEM or Ebay jobbies?
  7. Hi Alex, That's very promising! So you think running a JDM car on UK upper sensors would cause this? What is the difference between UK & JDM sensors? Also - I'm only getting Bank 1 lean, wouldn't the UK sensors do both banks? Final question - have you got any in stock? Lee's got my old engine and I haven't been able to get hold of him for 2 weeks
  8. Hi guys, Bit of background - my 2003 JDM has recently had a new engine fitted by me (with some help from R55LEE). New engine is a 44k mile UK DE lump. Since the new engine went in it's been running badly with CEL light on and I've tried a few things but no joy yet. Symtoms are: * Low idle causing engine/gearbox vibrations * Constant RPM or speed causes loss of power, most noticable at 2500 revs * When I apply heavy throttle i.e. when accelerating it runs fine, it will also correct itself if I come off throttle and reapply (sometimes) * I cannot hold the engine at 2500 revs, it either climbs above or drops below, apart from when I removed the Pop Charger filter when stationary, it seemed to run better and hold constant 2500 revs then I've done the 'pedal dance' which gave me P0171 fuel bank 1 lean - Having read the service manual, this points to HO2S1 (upper O2 sensor - drivers side) I've fitted a new Lambda, the HO2S2 (lower O2 sensor) from ZMANALEX, I thought I'd ordered the right one from Alex but a lower sensor turned up but having got under the car when fitting, I noticed the HO2S1 sensor is on the manifold, which came on the new engine, so I can't see that being damaged...Alex - my mistake not yours so don't worry - no hard feelings there. So my current logic is this: The cats would have had a fair amount of fuel/oil/coolant pass through them when the old engine went bang, so I think they could be buggered. I've bought a set of Decats to see if the cats are causing problems on the basis that I can run them for a while and flog them at relatively little expense. I've checked the Induction system, which is a JWT Pop Charger. I re-oiled it when doing the engine fit but can't see this causing the problem. The MAF seems clean and clear, and I have no error code relating to MAF issues. Other than a leak on the plenum gaskets I can't think how it's leaking air - the idle is low too (after it's ran for 20-30secs) which leads me to believe it's a sensor to ECU related issue. If anyone can suggest possible causes or if anyone has had the same issue I'd love to know about it, it's driving me mad! My car is JDM and therefore doesn't work on my OBD11 reader. I would be particularly interested in another with knowledge of sensor to ECU timings e.g. why it's constant revs that causes loss of power and why the idle drops after a set time. It would have to be a major induction leak for it to effect idle I would have thought. Thanks, Stu
  9. My uncle owns Grays Bodyshop, if you're lucky enough to be near Lakeside you could call in, they're an Insurance Approved Honda specialist. http://www.graysbodyshopltd.co.uk/
  10. I think the standard ones go for well over £100 new. I mentioned to R55LEE that I can sort worn gearknobs out (not knobs - I'm not that kind of man) and I may buy a handful off him and do a batch for fun. Mine's holding up nicely by the way, no signs of wear yet Stu
  11. Thanks Neil, my online banking is locked out at the moment so I'm likely to lose another week if I buy from Alex, which is a shame. Might leave the diff for now I think, will have a search for gearbox oil info
