hello! i am getting a full service for my zed... not paying for it (those who know the story will understand!) i have no idea about zeds yet or services, read a little about p1 p2 p3..bit confused! doubt the zed has ever had a service its 54 reg uk spec... 35,000miles and been errr ragged as we know! ive asked for a full service and cambelt change, is there anything else i should request? before i get the zed back again i want her to be near perfect this time around! am getting a good trustworthy garage to do it ! im sure my garage can look up what service it needs but perhaps my zed needs more tlc than normal for that mileage etc ...she wasnt looked after any info will be useful and ill add bits on if anything to ask for!

ok i will, looks like ill get a amuse replica... but prob not for a month or so- god knows when ill get my car back...! still deciding exactly what bodyshop to give her too- (everything being paid for though so alls being sorted:)

that post on here with ALLL those kits is amazing! spent ages looking! now i want the amuse front bumper... i cant afford it so only option is the replica- but would you advise against the replica one? ill try sell my one which isnt a replica....

Right...things seem to be going well... what i need to avoid is you guys slating anyone... yes its a disaster but they are sorting it! and i dont need to be in more trouble over this. they are fixing all the issues and i think my garage will be the ones doing so (who i trust fully) so fingers crossed soon ill have her back and she will be decent ... if i still have bad vibes after all this hassle i can sell her..but no reason to if repair and new parts sort her. So moving forward... things have been getting done today and i feel like they want to make me smile now ... itl prob take weeks to repair and sort and get all new parts... i will def be asking you lot where to get things hope you all agree this outcome is ok... action has been taken, the outcome is the car will be in better condition.. and i hope they see im a nice genuine girl who doesn't like trouble!

its not worth much in this state, £4,000 my garage told me. found alot more out after reports... no airbags in car hense light on ... erm do they all have airbags? im told mine are missing and theyve had interior done, steering wheel covered in leather ... no horn working... so shouldnt of passed mot ?? lots of bits broke and alot missing. they are taking it back asap and fixing up what they feel they should.... thats better than me left with it as it is.... aslong as shes safe and bits are fixed and alligned better... i guess it could be a good car after ?????? i just want a good Zed, i like the whole fast and furious look... though i also like them standard, but as youve seen from my FTO i want her to be a showcar, so this one already has a few good things going for it!? it seems she is straight, but nothing was fit well after... can see she was jigged etc. i dont wana get in more trouble from this thread... i still have no v5 i feel im owed them fixing it and some sort of compensation as an apology for all this ...but i think im dreaming there!!!!

and as for airbags..no idea but airbag lights on up on dash so guessing they dont work!?!?!

Bad times... rac said they cant do inspection as they do not deal with court cases...i said its not for court and i just need to tell mag..but they refused to touch it, said it looked very bad and were sure itl end up going legal getting a refund.... ill have to get independent inspection done... max have said theyl come get the car back and if issues cant be fixed ill get another one my garage saw it sat and said its really bad theyre writing a full report and have car back now .. so i may not see that car again!!!!!! my head hurts!

Good advice i hope shes a keeper..but will take alot to align every panel back into place..gaps everywhere! we'll see if shes straight first... if not- no good!

To be honest i am getting the inspection to assess the repair from the crash.. not alot aligns.... so on monday morning at least ill know if shes straight and safe... if so ill prob keep! if not i wont keep!! the engine issues i am hoping will not be too serious... and i know the interior can be sorted, and in mean time ill tint windows so no one can see the mess in there! i know i sound down in the dumps even though ive won the car, but you guys dont know the half of all the stress with this! was meant to get it last may! and then to find out its badly damaged, and took that long to sort and now get it with engine management light, bad smell when accelerate , no v5, no proper key, alarm that doesnt work, bodywork not flush/alligned well at all, cracked carbon bonnet (that i bought it myself) traction control broken, no 'free insurance' they said theyd try get me, and a dirty mess of an interior in which nothing works! the whole sound system doesnt work, doesnt seem fit to purchase at min, let alone as a prize- however if rac say repair is fine and shes straight least ill wana keep it lowered FTO to £7995... really need to sell that however all that £ will clear my debts! so 350 will take me ages to sort... but no debt and a nice car is great, i am grateful. its all the stress thats upset me .... a year of waiting and its not quite as advertised still.... ill see what rac say.... my friends who have seen it and how bodykit/doors/boot / bonnet doesnt align well are suspicious and telling me its no good so lets see what the professionals say and go from there! if shes straight and engines ok then ill be ok! the rest i can live with yes

Yeah its a bit far especially as there's issues with car! but id def like you all to see it and meet me, offer advise soon ... bluewaters sounding better aslong as im told monday its all safe and sound to drive! panicing going to and from work at min! very gutting too its got loads of audio and rear speakers worked..not the fronts and now alpine lovely dvd screen in front has packed in not cheap to replace either so no tunes!!! arrrgh!!!!!

no status, just had a bump and needed headlight and bumper ...illl get full lowdown when it all checked out monday, but least it wasnt written off ....helps me a bit!

id keep the carbon bootlid and bonnet and the wheels thats it, but even replacing bootlid and bonnet and getting painted could be too expensive for me to try this inspection was £299.00 monday ! totally broke! just insured it etc.. Know i def want a 350z , just one without all the grief, least i know i can prob get £8900 from webuyanycar ! not too bad! 20's on 350z isnt right though is it? so maybe sell the 20s separate and get my new zed some other wheels? i dont have to keep the car now, i have told them i may not be keeping it. its not to my satisfaction of a show car therefore wont wana be showing it.... but i may still keep her.... could the number plate being where it is be the reason for the horrid smell when i accelerate?! over heating?? sooo much to do!

shockingly most friends and fam have said they prefer my FTO! but i do feel its time to let FTO go, its been an amazing 4 years owning it and i really want a 350z!! its odd saying that- i have zed at work downstairs! FTO is all show and nothing else, cant leave her anywhere etc, now i feel its time for just one car - a nice 350z with carbon and nice mods, not a full out show car that i cant drive every day?! webuyanycar say theyl pay £ 8900- whats the deal with that site? take it they inspect everything, do they def buy it straight away if they inspect and its all ok?? all depends what rac say .... ill wait and see! pretty annoying traction controls off and buttons broke im not used to rear wheel drive!

i need to aviod any slagging off of companies, i am already being taken to court possibly for slander... over this car! hense im getting inspection . its all been a mess im happy i have the car now, and i knew it had been bumped and i still took the car... still better than nothing.... i think though id like to sell and start again as the costs to sort that interior will be high, i have no £ to put into the car, if i modify one ill be doing that ever so slowly! i had my fun with the FTO... now time to be sensible so i think be debt free but with a nice standard one will make me happy, coming off the 'modified car scene' after all this trouble put me off it all, ill enjoy my cars and do meets with you lot etc, not focus on spending thousands just to win show and shine comps at shows........
