I have ordered new rear tyres - they were 265/30/19 (rear) and fronts were 235/35/19... so ive made em all 35 .......... ill post some pics... check out terrys cool working footware! (ok they were mine!) im really pleased with the car though, love exhaust, wheels, and its now away meshing the front bumper i just hope the new tyres stop that SLIP warning light... it felt reallt awful driving it ... and i wouldnt usually drive with little air in... i had to get it to garage, i was lucky it got there!!!

Well.... things dont run smooth with me and 350's!!!! aaarrrrggghhh!!!! OK, im sure ill forget alot of detail in this; maybe Kite, or D4NXY (hope thats right user name for danny with the lovely black modded zed) or BulletMagnet can add to this!! they all came round mine to help me fit the 19" alloys, k1 exhaust and look at my 'cubbyhole' The wheels went on.... the rear tyres have little air and as they have aluminum valve caps theyve corroded / got stuck on and therefore tyres (rears ) have little air right now... (this may help explain a big prob ive had today.............) the exhaust; the poor chaps were at it from 1pm till 10pm- no joke!!!! the standard exhaust the bolts etc were so rusted they just couldnt get it off.... easy on a ramp as room to swing at them etc.. but we only had they car jacked up. So i ended up driving it last night with no exhaust and the k1 in passenger seat!!! That however was all fitted at a garage today, and looks great- sounds good too. i like it . The cubby hole.... They had it all out and in pieces.... and my motorised screen had stuck down- we got it back up and the reversing camera worked...woohoo!! the sat nav does not though. whilst all this was apart the weirdest thing happened!! the car made an actual door bell noise!!!! DING DONG!!!!! twice!!! it was really funny... but very strange!!!! we all joked the cubby hole would close when all put back together and ignition switched off......... guess what- it did!!!!!! so the motorised flap seems to shut it but not put it up!?!?! it was really gutting as theyd spent a while taking it all apart just for it to shut back down!!!!!!! BulletMagnet (Mark) was really kind and took it all back apart and has now disconnected the cubby hole motorised screen- so now its stuck open so i can use the reversing cam.... but its all very strange and the sat nav is just lit black and beeps now and then and jap writing comes up ... ill need to sort this eventually. We were listening to 'Elton John' haha whilst working on the zed and when we went to start the car her batt had gone flat.... typical!!!! this was at about 10pm after a huge struggle all day with exhaust!!!!! We swapped kites batt with mine- then quickly threw mine back in and charged it- we went for a photoshoot with the 5 zeds which Danny took the pics so hopefully we can post these up ..... There was 5 zeds as also Terry helped... i dont know his screen name on here !! he said he will come back on though today... tried to open the car- didnt work..... i assumed batt had died, started to bang my head on walls by now!!!!! but somehow after 5 mins it actually opened and started! very strange !?!??! i assume poss my key fob batt is dying??? i had the exhaust fitted, they didnt have alot to do as the guys had done most work, that went well !!BUT ... On route from fitting exhaust to work the SLIP warning light kept coming up on dash, i seemed to be losing power , so i drove to work really slow i dont really know why.... i am praying its because the rear two tyres have not enough air... and one rear is very low on tread. I tried to replace that today but they didnt have the tyre i wanted in, i also asked them to pump then up- replace those valves as they were stuck- they advised untill i have the tyre not to said they didnt want to disturb the tyre replacing the valves?!?!!? and told me to get my garage this eve to do that...... this eve its going to another garage who are respraying front bumper and meshing it ..... so i just pray the car opens, drives and doesnt flash SLIP up too much ...... and i can get that garage to source the tyre and pump em all up right..... all in all... very stressful if anyone could help with this SLIP warning light that would help, it is because she now has 19's on her? or perhaps the fact one rear is low on tread and low on air??? i hope its the above and not a real fault / issue ........ thank you to the 4 lovely zed owners who spent allllll day helping me and under my car getting rust in their eyes yesterday. i cant thank you enough! help!!!!!!

yeah i agree, id be best off with another HU ... hmm that will have to wait ... ill just leave it bust for now, apparantly the reverse cam should work though, so may ask someone to fix my flap and see if that at least works!!!

We are home!! i have also spoken to her previous owner of the last 4 years... i texted him!! and he was very nice and replied and answered alot of my questions.... Its an import and he tried to change the sat nav to english (this will explain her english buttons on that then) he bought a version form the states however said it required alot of adaptation and he gave up.... the flap over the sat nav he said is tempermental and needs oiling - yep that flap is broke... cant pull it up .. and now i know the sat nav wont work but he reckons the reversing camera should on it!! (thatd be something) he said he sold it in good condition and misses it... never any issues with roof (i asked that) but advised me to wd40 main hinges few times a year as they get dry when not used. hmmm... what are my options with the sat nav!? ill be over the moon even if i just use that as a camera ?(if it works- flaps broke at min- how do i fix my flap!?) .... the car has some jap aftermarket buttons under steering wheel to the left... i asked what they were and theyre where the car had front side and rear parking sensors but once in UK they were taken off so that clears that up, i was hoping theyd be an ejector seat.. he seemed a nice chap and asked me to look after her and enjoy her on my way home from the garage i stopped off and took some pics... they arent much good but she looks alot better than my last one Sunday ill add some 19" finichi alloys, and the k1 exhaust (i have heard a few owners dont like this as its LOUD....my last cars were all crazy loud- but ill be keeping the bafflers in so hope itll be ok ) i think ill be in urgent need of wheel spacers if any one knows where they may be cheapest? and also- she needs new brake pads all round ... within 1000 miles was mot advisory ..no brembos on her so what pads are best and not too expensive !? im broke!!!

thank you all... i am picking her up this eve... nervous !! i know its silly but after the state of my last one... im terrified to find faults !! or break down!! lets hope this time the car is good. and tonight i may sleep!! i looked at s2000s and porsche boxsters but everytime ive seen a zed since what happened.... ive been sad..... so knew i had to get another and put it behind me fingers crossed, and sunday some lovely zed owners are coming to see me and put her new wheels and exhaust on ill take pics and post them up, i think ill have a huge grin (hope so!)

I often get "Oh that must be his dads car" to which they get a rather impolite reply It's a shame you've missed most of the big Japanese car shows by a few months though. yep ill prob get asked if its my dads / brothers car too!! i havent missed any shows.... ive been to most and enjoyed them with my last show car .. but theyll be alot better with a Zed !!! even though she isnt a show car.. ill keep her really nice though

I wondered whether to put this in 'newbie' but I'm not really a newbie exactly !! I had a Zed before and it all went horrificly wrong !! some of you will remember... its taken me a long while to sort things out, get over all that and buy another... Ill leave a few pics, Ive bought a roadster I can only pray it is 'straight!!!' and reliable... well lets be honest it wont be worse than my last !! I know some of you will want to know what i am talking about... but if people can inform them privately thats better for me... as it all got out of hand last time and id made the situation worse by being on an online forum revealing the mess I have already been overwhelmed with zed owners (who i have met / kept in touch with) who are already helping me !! i have some second hand nice alloys coming soon, a second hand k1 exhaust coming soon (with bafflers!) and a few other bits thanks to some amazing support from here!!!!! ive also bought some bumper mesh ... Sky Insurance have even been very nice to me and got me a excellent quote. so ill keep taking pics of its progress, i cant go too mad... as i can barely afford her in honesty !! but ive been so unhappy without one !!!! I pick her up either tomorrow eve or thurs, can everyone wish me luck i get her home and she is infact- not a lemon ! i dont think i could take it !!! Amy sorry no other pics... i did well to get these before i bought her!!

i now live in dunstable... i bought a flat ... next is save for a zed ! i am just on del sol owners now! i am organising a jap car day at the ace cafe... it was the honda del sol day id got - fri 22nd april (bank hol) starts at 11.30... but so few del sols around we wont fill car park!! hmm- you have to come!!! i would love to see some nice zeds... mine wasnt best example ill pop it up in meets !

oh dear!!! poor zed... i promised her id look after her but even i couldn't sort all the issues - this car broke my heart! actually wasnt the cars fault !! poor thing!!

all carbon was ruined anyway! bootlid was like an orange colour itd gone horrible and bonnet they had cracked very badly !!

Hey all- Firstly im sorry i just disappeared!! after all your help and thoughts on my situation with that car ... it got too much and i literally disappeared from any car forum and didnt go to any shows for a long time was really upset outcome- they paid me off to shut me up- another reason i didnt post the car had 4 wheel geom test and is over an inch out whole left hand side. it has many issues and nothing now meets as its bent. i wanted to keep and fix but my garages i trust could not sort it all they said they wanted nothing to do with that car ..it was that bad! so- i sold fto too and paid for deposit on my first flat. i have a really cool green del sol now- have modified that and although no where near as nice as a 350 would be at least with mortgage i can afford insurance i suppose!! dunno who bought the zed but i wish them luck ! ill be at most shows with the green del sol- ill prob see alot of you one day i will have a zed lol !!! one day .....

I am selling the wheels off the zed... 20" finichi- a one off wheel! they arent making more, theyre gorgeous wheels and as you can see look awesome on a zed. .i am upset to see them go. the tyres are new ..unsure what make but know a really good one.... cant really sell for three weeks till im back unless someone snaps em up this weekend! theyre still on car waiting to be taken off in watford. will find out the make and sizes, however its in max power right now with all that info if you have bought that....£900. also brand new seibon bonnet same as this one they cracked- on the car, still at amber performance, still wrapped, gorgeous bonnet. £400. i am rushing this ad sorry- it is not cracked! its a brand new one they got me as a replacement! you prob wondering whats going on, i got paid off so selling these parts, i may get a zed next year... whole things upset me too much to have one right now, and using the money for a place to live as my dads now selling house, so homeless soon! so kinda have to sort accommodation first anyway! based in hertfordshire, i dont want to post, collections ideal! i am also away for three weeks.... so please pm me and ask for my number if interested as wont be on here much as away working...
