I dont feel its a chavvy show at all, its a great chilled out atmosphere If we can get a stand I'M IN .. pleeeease! Also a awesome chance to really get to know each other, what with the camping

Hey ! I had my Zed fully serviced a few months ago but noticed a "whining" noise early in the mornings lately, when i turn the wheel... it seems to die off after the car has warmed up. I checked the power steering fluid and its very very low. There is no sign of a leak so I am assuming the guy who serviced her didnt top it up, and I have a chrome cover over the fluid bottle so I hadnt seen it was low until i removed this Do I simply top it up? or does it need bleeding? or fully flushing? Nissan local garage told me yesterday that they dont have the equipment to flush it?! I am hoping I can just top it up ? but maybe i can bleed it myself? any info would be great! including what else to look out for if the cars making this whining noise?! 95k miles!! thanks

Also I did not make it saturday I was very sad not to be able to make it, it was a money issue, i couldn't justify it unfortunatley. Ill keep my eye out for more shows/meets.Hope you all had a lovely day out in the sun with your Zeds

I am planning on getting there 11ish on sat ... this OK? not too late? i shall drive around and find you all just staying for the day.... as roadster boot not big enough for my tent and bedding, food, clothes, shoes.... and boyfriend haha.....

hey ! so.. it seems i can make this! do i just drive in and come and find you lot to park up with? when do i need to do that? first thing sat morn? i may also camp too... just wanted wanted to make sure i get there at a decent time to be able to join your stand and camp in same area and join you all ??

I may need these. Wondering if you could answer this mystery for me .... My 2003 import has the speedo on the right hand gauge - its been made to mph not kms as has my dials speedo... But on same gauge it reads my fuel consumption in kms ?! It's confused me ! It's like the last owner had converted it but the average miles per gallon is still in kms? Hope that makes sense? Any thoughts would be really appriciated. Thanks Ps also- what is the average mpg of a 350z 03 model (roughly) town driving and motor way? As I haven't worked it out from the reading of the kms per gallon ?! I should get an iPhone app I hear there's good ones ! Amy

Hey everyone! i have been worried about the wet grounds so I called Castle Combe just now. As i heard at the race meet last weekend a few cars had to be tow'ed out of mud! They said they are laying down metal tracks to try and help the wet grass situation.... and that we are probably on concrete anyway ? (think so- think i read we are bang in middle of it?! paddock area?) They said the banks to watch the racing are muddy... and theyve closed off a little bit. i asked the lady how bad it would be and she said it wont ruin the day at all, the grass is still green mainly and not muddy and we should be on tarmac? So my mind is at ease though ill be packing my wellies anyway hehe! Bullet Magnet and I are heading down for fri eve (tomorrow night) we arent staying in the nearest fully booked hotel but are near by in another ... we might try and find some of you for meal/ drinks though perhaps? is any one meeting up fri eve??

yes i agree it is too low for sat nav really... though id go by mainly listening to it i guess if that my only option to put one there. thanks for the link! geez thats quite a lot more than i was expecting!! but like i say- its something to fix in the future not now so its good to know what i need to aim for !

this sounds good... could someone maybe show me a link to one on ebay so i know i buy the right thing? Will the software still be in japanese? im still a bit confused!? will a new dvd unit sort everything?! ie its all in english and uk?! this sounds too easy! so i am guessing its not so simple!? my zed is a 2003, although when i enter her reg it always comes up 2007- i was told she was imported in 07 and some one messed up?! still the lower tax..phew!

Hey everyone! ive had a little read today about the jdm sat navs that dont work, and read that its not a cheap fix... i take it you have all had to take it out and fit another after market unit?! Is there not a dvd i can buy from nissan to make uk maps work? saying this my sat nav does nothing anyway- all i have up is a nissan logo ! it does nothing else apart from beep and flash up some jap symbols?! Is this normal? Its not something I am going to sort right away, but it would be nice know what the options could be, id love sat nav in the car I think ill just take the casette / cd player below out and put a nice after market sat nav unit in there? is that what everyone else does? the cd player has never worked anyway! That way means i have 2 screens there though... but a reversing camera is working with teh top sat nav one i have now- so i guess it has a use!

I bought Lexx's Autoshine AMUSE front bumper! and Kites vented bonnet and some new alloys - its in bodyshop this week, back saturday bought all this a while ago but had to save up few months to get fitted and painted Does this mean your Zed will be ready in time? it does! it should be ready for the fast show santa pod next weekend!! ill post some pics when done What you getting done to her Amy?

Hey- Thought id double check a few things on here as I have heard different stories! I am having a full service- my friend who i trust is doing this. He is using purple royal oil - tells me its good stuff- firstly- is this true? i believe so as i have read a few threads and heard of it- but wanted to make sure The gearbox oil (auto box) hasnt been serviced in my service history- so i think it should be done??? Nissan havent done it. I have history from nissan garages since 2007 since when imported here. A garage tell me you can only get the part to do the gearbox service from nissan- no where else? is this correct? But what i dont know is what oil to put in the gearbox?? my friend is saying purple royal again. Will this all be fine? Also how often should gear box oil be changed in an auto roughly? many thanks in advance!!

i had a coupe.. then i got a roadster.... i didn't have my coupe long- and before i had a honda del sol which is when i fell in love with roof off option!! ok so i don't have the roof down for 5 months (ish) of the year..but the nice days its so good to have down and the car looks stunning! i still like roadsters with roof up but like someone else has says its marmite ! it is louder in a roadster.... i haven't heard any rattles ........ i hear a lovely v6 roar!!!
