  1. good stuff, hope you get up there ok. Enjoy the drive back and take it steady if the rain sets in
  2. Don't know If you fancy something 80's? What about an Opel Manta?
  3. Cracking looking Zed, welcome aboard
  4. Scooting along the M4 this morning, saw you in my rearview mirror about 7am, just after J18 as I was heading toward Swindon. Have to say you were driving a very nice looking Zed indeed Think we were in 'convoy' and swapping and changing for about 25 mins or so, before I turned off at J16.
  5. Plus Points: 1) Moreton really looked after us again, staff were great as was the food and drink (Waterloo was pretty good as well). 2) Drives out were very good, had a really nice flow this year and had opportunities for a blast along through stunning scenery as well as more 'technical' bits. 3) Dent man was a genius and a real pro. 4) Communications about the weekend via the forum were excellent. 5 I thought Colin, Dave, Chris and others did a good job of keeping us informed and involved over the weekend. 6) Splitting us in to manageable groups was a great idea and seemed to work well. 7) Everyone there seemed to be really enjoying the weekend and it seemed people were more than happy to chat away if you struck up a conversation. Minus Points: 1) Detailing guys not turning up. An excellent weekend all round, thanks guys

  9. I can't add much more to anything that's already been said. The Moreton folks looked after us very well yet again, the food was great and I thought the lunch on Sunday at the Waterloo was cracking so thanks to them. As for the drives out I thought they were exceptional. Great roads, fantastic scenery, a real pleasure to use the Zed for what it was made for. I'm sure Bruce has managed to get some fantastic shots of us all. Big thanks to Colin, Dave, Chris (and others) for helping to organise such an enjoyable weekend. Thumbs up to the Mods (and others) who helped to keep us organised and safe and make the weekend go so smoothly, top effort all round. The dent man was also a real success, what a professional he was, so another thanks to Chris for that. What really helped top it all off however was spending the weekend with the excellent crowd who attended. It was a pleasure to be in your company, thanks for making it so much fun
  10. I didn't think anyone on our table was going to win anything Nice to meet you and Ronnie, we were sat alongside you at Sunday lunch hoping we might win something! Glad you guys enjoyed it
  11. Fantastic pics and great video's so far Firstly I'd like to thank all those who put so much effort in to organising this years jaunt and made sure we all had a great time. I think we all enjoyed some good food and drink, got a chance to catch up with each other and most importantly got to drive on some fantastic roads through some stunning scenery. Big thanks to Colin, Dave, Chris and all the mods and forum 'officials' who looked after us, kept us safe and let us really have some fun. Now a couple of pics We weren't sure Chris had a Zed, but then ........ ....as if by magic.... the Zed appeared There was no shirking of responsibilities and there was always someone to turn to.... Thanks guys for a fantastic weekend
  12. Well the Stillen Y Pipe from Tarmac, the Brembo calipers, rotors lines (etc) from ZMANALEX have now been fitted by Abbey. Along with a motordyne plenum spacer and Uprev from Abbey in the last few days should mean that I'm ready to go. This pic was taken yesterday but she's had a clean now

Can I please follow that up with another Ian quote “....first thing I'll do is get it up to Abbey for a 'service'...." Exactly what kind of service is planned I'm not sure A cracking day and great to meet some folks I hadn't met before and catch up with some more familiar faces, excellent Thanks to all who took a part in the organisation, good work fella's
  19. I have to say I'm inclined to agree, it's very important to have a distinction between police and the courts as to their roles and responsibilities. Much as there is constitutional separation of power between the legislature and the judiciary in this country, in that the legislature makes the law and the courts administer the law.
  20. + 1 Good work Martin, Marco and top effort to Peter for stepping in to help out
  21. Spotted on the Circus just as I was on my way down to the station about 7:20 this morning.
