I think it's a development of the TVR Sagaris 2 'concept' which first appeared around 2008
-
I'm fairly sure I know what it is, or what I think it is, or what it may be a development of Something that was initially brought to light a few (4-5) years ago.

WALES 2012 DISCUSS + *OFFICIAL LIST on P1*
Bockaaarck replied to Ebized's topic in National Events & Shows
I'd like to add a huge thanks to all who organised and were involved in running the meet and looking after us over the whole weekend. A big thumbs up to Colin, Chris and Graham for all the effort put in to the planning, routes and comms, fantastic selection of roads chaps. On top of that a thank you goes to Darren, Will, Neil, Ian, James, Chris, Mike etc and all the others who tried to keep us organised, safe and out of mischief, thanks guys. As ever the roads were fantastic and there was a great mix of 'windy', 'speedy' and 'scenery' sections along the planned routes. It was great to stretch the Zeds legs and get her moving and shaking with you guys. Brilliant to catch up with some familar faces that we only get to see at this time of year (Andy & Lydia, Ken, Will and Andrew, Neil & Tracy, Chris (Tarmac) Adrian & Nicoleta, Mark and so many others!). It was particulalry nice to meet some of the members, who we'd only met once or not at all, all of whom seemed to really get in to the flow of things and enjoy themselves (Steve and Bev - lovely to spend some time chatting with you guys, Chris and Zoe - loving the White Zed , Mike & Kim - anyone fancy a drive through this tunnel? Dave & Kate - always loving the night blue, Dan & Michaela - lovely, well looked after Zed ). We really enjoyed ourselves and the company of all you guys, thanks for making it so much fun. Also a top effort all round regards the fund raising (Car washing - Ian, raffle tickets - James, all the traders who gave raffle prizes and made donations (including everyone who bought a ticket for the raffle!). Thanks to the Waterloo Hotel at Betws-y-Coed and the Lodge at Moreton for looking after us again) We had a great time -
Congratulations Bems, very nice looking Zed you've got yourself there

Spotted coming off the slip road and across the Cribbs Causeway roundabout as I was waiting to go across and under the motorway on to the M5. Lovely sounding exhaust, really cut through the air, although not in a harsh way.

Hi everyone, a new Z owner from Spain

Welcome aboard, loving looking Zed you have there I really enjoyed Barcelona, great city, lot's of things to see and do. Had some great food in Barceloneta, Can Ramonet I think the place was called. -
This link should explain what the car should have and what you need to ensure it does have (i.e. seller should be able to present this information to you) with regards to registration from import (JDM / USA ) in to this country. http://www.dft.gov.uk/vca/other/vehicle-importing-mu.asp It should be easy for the seller to give you the plate number was originally registered on as the car should have followed the same (similar) registration processes as the link above indicates when the car was first imported in to this country. You must demand they provide that information to you before commiting to any kind of purchase like this, which you'll know from your previous car buying experience. The seller mustbe able to provide you with a plate number which you can then hpi check. But then if the car is only £3k and if you've bought stuff through eBay before and the car is cat C, then you will know what you need to check before making a purchase like this. As I've said, I wouldn't buy a cat C car from ebay but if you can use you're knowledge and experience to do so then it's an option for you. ,My suggestions shouldn't be taken as binding advice as it's only a matter of my opinion of course.
-
Wooah, very strange, I can't believe that's normal behaviour for Carp
-
Welcome aboard chettle, sounds like you're really enjoying the Zed so far
-
I've found the link on eBay for the car you're asking about...... I wouldn't touch it.
-
Nice vid and driving buster (note to self: must try and get a track session at CC organised)
-
So your query is about the plate and your ability to check the 'validity' of the information related to the car based on the true plate which was originally on the car? I suggest you ask the seller for the plate the car was given upon import and registration. As you're browsing it on eBay i'm uncertain as to why you can't provide a link? As you've clearly bought a lot of vehicle's cat C, or otherwise, this way I'm sure your experience will help in finding this kind of information out. All the best
-
Do you have any details of the car you can provide us with (a link, how much it is it etc)? Personally I wouldn't buy a cat C car.
-
Afraid I don't know the car or the firm. I wouldn't knowingly buy a cat C car under any circumstances, even if my views changed I certainly wouldn't be paying 6,800 pounds for one. I think better cars that are slightly older that possibly have higher mileage are available for the money

Welcome aboard Mike, looks like you've got yourself a very tidy Zed

Good luck with the search Phil, fingers crossed you'll find a good one. Always worth checking the Zed's for sale on this forum as they will have been looked after, pampered and you should get a good idea of the history of them. Even if none of them take your fancy you'll at least get a good idea of condition, mileage, extra's and an overall 'value for money' representation, which may help if you choose to buy from a dealer, e-bay, autotrader etc. As has been said, you'll get pretty good 'bang for our buck' with the Zed. Maybe your mate is just a bit jealous or maybe he's a bit worried that if you get a great car like the Zed he'll feel a bit left out. It's not worth losing a mate over a car, when you get yours take him for a spin in it.......and sow the seed. Maybe he'll want one himself and then you'll both be having fun -
Phew! I was convinced it was real. Trouble is Andy it's satirical but actually not that far from the truth and that's the really worrying thing.
-
Apparently it is a satirical site by a guy called Chris Harper, 'thank heaven' for that
-
Mmm what was that line in Pulp Fiction? "Where's Zed?....." "Zed's Red baby, Zed's Red ......"
-
Jeeeeez how lucky were you! Nightmare that your car windscreen was damaged but glad that you're ok.
-
Looking for a 350Z - am I being realistic?
Bockaaarck replied to BandofBrothers's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
You've factored in the running costs of fuel, tyres, servicing on top of the finance and insurance costs yes? Not that I want to put you off, just making sure you've considered this? Welcome by the way, and as great as the Focus ST is, they are very different drives. Zed all the way for me. -
Totally agree. Apart from the badge I could find something a lot more pleasing for 17 grand aston DB7 Agree with you on this biscuit, the DB7 is a beautiful car and a very tidy can be had for late teens / early twenty's. The other car which floats my boat for the same sort of money is the SL55 AMG. I know it might seem a bit boring and I know it's a bit of a heffer but for the money a 2002 - 04 car with around 60k miles can be had and its a lot of car for the money.

Nice motor I've recently started to take a real shine to the Mondial T, in particular those manufactured around 1990-1994. They have the 3.4 litre v8 which went in to the 348 and had the vast majority of the earler Mondial 'niggles' dealt with. You seem to be able to pick up a very tidy one for around 20k, which I don't think is too bad if you have the cashola. Probably better of buying one of them than a tired 308 / 328 for 25k. Like this one: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C276340 I hasten to add this is not my car, nor do I know the owner of the vehicle or the garage.
