  1. Tempted by this, would have to check out potential work conflicts though. Think it could be a really nice event just before everyone settles in to Christmas
  2. Mark, the advice from CS and Tarmac is sensible, avoid the eBay systems as its very difficult to be certain of the quality. It does come down to your budget, the Cobra / Scorpion systems are both good products without busting the bank, the offerings from Miltek are also very good but likely to be a little more expensive.
  3. Spotted a lovely Azure 350Z about 5:15 this evening. You must have come off the roundabout by the Warminster Travelodge, up the hill on to the A36. There's a little bit of two lane traffic as you come up that hill. Spotted you just before that two lane section merges as you we're coming down the hill. Nice looking Zed, even in this grim weather!
  4. Lovely red 350Z, black Zed badge on the front, large black rear wing. Spotted about 5pm as we headed toward Upton Lovell on the A36 put of Wilton
  5. Why worry about driving reviews If you want cheapness just get something that does 70mpg ish like a VW Fox.... Cheap Economical Fun You can get any 2 of those but not all 3 IMO Sent from the Jaaaaaag at the golf club YAAAARRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPP What about my Seat Toledo V5 £1600 - Leather / Alacantra interior (especially for you SMD x), 6CD multiplayer, Sat Nav, massive boot with folding rear seats, climate control, good small saloon size, 2.3 litre power plant 0-60 in eight seconds......perfect shed! Edit - Maybe not quite the mpg the Ops after though Nice but not gonna be cheap on tax or have the mpg I'm guessing? :-) Mmmmm yep, I may have overlooked those issues .....oops

  7. Many congratulations to you and Mrs BM, hope you had a fantastic day!
  8. Universal Silver / Blade 350Z spotted parked in the drive of a lovely house. On the right hand side of the road just as we were driving in to Godshill on our way to Shanklin
  9. I don't know why but I've developed a bit of a hankering for a cheap, fun run around and have become really tempted by the Porsche 924s. I know, I know, its 30 years old and its the bottom end of the range, etc, etc. But I think the 924s can be had for really good prices. With the 2.5 engine from the 944 (slightly detuned) but less weight, for a couple of grand I think it would be a real laugh and fun to scoot around in
  10. Congratulations to you both, fantastic news
  11. I had the Uprev done by Mark and guys at Abbey, whilst they also fitted a plenum spacer and Stillen Y Pipe. Gained some BHP but more importantly made the car more driveable and improved throttle response significantly. In order to gain the most benefit from an Uprev I would be inclined to combine it with other work, like the fitting of a plenum spacer, exhaust / Y Pipe change at the same time. 95 Ron is a 'no-no' if you want to prevent damage to the engine, so its good to hear you're using super unleaded
  12. I can confirm its the rear fog light switch, if your Zed is a JDM like mine
  13. Personally I'd probably buy an F355, 456 or 348 GTB and have just enough left for a cheeky late 80's Carrera. Or I'd go for a Jalpa and again get a decent late 80's 911. If there weren't any decent 911's around after I bought the Ferrari / Lamborghini if just blow the rest of the cash on cravats, argyle sweaters and champagne

    Fuel

It will do Rob, but if you possibly can stick to Tesco Momentum or Shell V Power Nitro
  15. My friend, allow me to suggest a risky but interesting option: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lamborghini/urraco/lamborghini-urraco-p-250-s-1973/1052576
  16. GLWTS Darren, its a fantastic Zed which you've had a terrific amount of work done on at no expense spared. Having seen it a number of times in Wales and followed it (albeit briefly! ) it is a cracking example. Whoever buys this from you will be very happy I'm sure. Hope you have something fun lined up to replace it with
  17. I might have to pop a spotted note on it in that case
  18. Spotted this morning about 8:30 as I was scooting to take my shed to the garage for a quick service, looked very nice
  19. Ricey, I say this in the most sincere and genuine respect you my friend are a legend. Having the strength of character to look at a situation like the one you've described and basically say to yourself. "No....no, I'm not prepared to allow that to happen, I will not accept something which is morally and ethically wrong and goes against all that I believe in" is the sign of real inner strength and character. Good for you, I have huge respect for what you've done. I have been in similar circumstances myself and nothing is more uplifting and soul rewarding than having the confidence to stand up for your and other peoples rights and say "Do you know what, you can find someone else to do that, because I won't" 11 / 10 for you my friend, with and attitude like that you will never go far wrong
  20. Andy, I'm sure your daughter will tell you she actually had a great time when you pick her up. It will have been a fantastic and valuable experience for her. I really hope she gets something out of it and has enjoyed it. I know we talked before about scooting off in the Zeds if / when she has and performances etc scheduled in the south west and you drive her down this way. I still think we should do this, there are some great roads we can enjoy. However, now I know she's a keen percussionist. I might have to spend some ensuring she's fully appreciative of the great skills and talents of Neil Peart, Omar Hakim, Stewart Copeland, Evelyn Glennie, Buddy Rich and others!
  21. I'm sure they're great but they're a real Marmite car for me, not something I like. That being said as long as your daughters happy with it, enjoys driving it and she can scoot around to her hearts content that's the main thing
  22. Dave, sorry to hear you're selling the Zed, but in the circumstances I think it's the sensible thing. Whoever ends up buying it from you will be very fortunate indeed. It's a stunning example and a real credit to you.
  23. Steph McGovern filming for BBC breakfast this morning on the Royal Crescent. Spotted my little Zed in the background. Pic posted from her twitter account, mines the middle red car, fourth from the left: http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BSGMLPPIUAAmoeu.jpg#twimg
