  1. Good right up, in your circumstances, the move to the Audi was clearly the right decision.
  2. Ghost in the Machine - The Poice London Calling - The Clash Brave - Marillion Lionheart - Kate Bush Fragile - Yes Live and Dangerous - Thin Lizzy Argus - Wishbone Ash Juke Box Dury - Ian Dury and the Blockheads Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin British Steel - Judas Priest
  3. Annie , how about somewhere within 5 miles of Chiddingfold in Surrey? Lovely area, Witley station means it's 45 mins to Weybridge and 55 mins to an hour in to Waterloo. It's a lovely area around there, very pretty, I'm positive there would be 'horsey homes' (or stabling) opportunities there. I would never worry about renting somewhere in your circumstances. Better off renting somewhere for 6 months in a prospective home location and finding out you don't like the place. Than spending £500k on a house, then finding out you don't like the place! Or you could carry on doing what your doing now. As Mr Two Bears business to contribute to the rental cost, as work is dictating where you have to live. You'd have to look at the tax implications of that of course (benefit in kind etc). Then that means you can keep your home in Yorkshire and that makes things easier for your daughter. How about putting a marker in the sand for everyone "we'll sell up in Yorkshire this time next year....". Spend that year really working at finding a new area in the South where you want to live. Having lived in Godalming and recently been back there it reminded me how lovely that area is. It did remind me how expensive it had become though. It was nice to get home to Somerset
  4. Nice What about this? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409167449624?atmobcid=soc3 LPG conversion
  5. That is really bad, the must be screwed in terms of spare parts. I sincerely hope Kobayashi gets an F1 drive next year. His early performances for Toyota and Sauber were terrific. He has pace and isn't afraid to get stuck in. He also had some good results with Ferrari in the LMGTE
  6. That's a great, practical 'family wagon' with some decent grunt. Not the most thrilling car to look at but then that's not the point of it is it? That's the kind of car you get fun out of when you're driving back from a holiday in the south of France. Family all asleep around you, cases and holiday gear all loaded up and you being able to scoot back to the ferry and have some fun on some great roads
  7. You're going to have an amazing day Ian . I know this will seem a bit of an odd thing to say. Do make sure you take a moment every so often to take it all in. Take in the sight , sounds, smells (oil, rubber etc .....no need for you to comment SMD!) . Really get a sense of the day and enjoy it. Have a great time
  8. Spotted about 5:10pm as I came off and under the A3 on my way to Compton and Godalming
  9. Jeez, what a pain in the a**e Darren, at least you finally got it out (No pun intended)
  10. Nice spot, that's on Broad Street if I remember. There's a terrific pub round the corner on Water Street call the Dead Rabbit, great place
  11. Just for a laugh, slightly over budget at just under 11k, Jaguar S type R - 4.2 litres, 400bhp, 0-62 = 5.3 seconds.......comfy, high speed wafting in a Jaaaaaaaag
  12. I want No Man's Sky (and GTAV as I've never played it and it looks awesome on the PS4 trailer) Yep, this looks great
  13. I'm only level 21 at the mo too, but as indicated, I'm still enjoying the game. I know there's a lot more for me to discover
  14. I assume we will get all the content we're after as additional DLC over the coming months. Frustrating but I guess that's the way the industry works now. They have to keep their game visible, in the news to gamers to encourage that anticipation, to guarantee anticipation and ongoing commitment for purchases
  15. That's just laziness and penny pinching then. Ten years in development and yet they didn't bother with driving the game forward through an intriguing and captivating story? Why did the fake development take so long, what were they doing? These are rhetorical questions of course but frankly that's unforgivable. I know Mass Effect isn't / wasn't everyone's cup of tea but it shows it can be done and done brilliantly. This kind of thinking reminds me of the views made by senior BT management many years ago when asked about 'the internet'. That basically it would never take off, nobody at home would be interested in it, it was a flash in the pan. So naive and frankly plain stupidity beyond belief
  16. I'm still enjoying Destiny, still having a blast playing it. However; In order to maintain longevity, Bungie must develop, expand and deepen the story. I can shoot Nazi's / Aliens / Insurgents day in day out in any number of games which I already have. So Bungie need to make an effort to draw me in further to the Destiny world by adding depth, intelligence, terrific gameplay but also compelling and detailed storyline.
  17. Remember, if this happens, you must destroy the stairs
  18. Fantastic Chris, looks brilliant . There's no stopping you :resistanceisfutile: I predict it will be amazing
  19. You must have 'sausage fingers' like me, as you caught the '8' when you clearly meant to type a '7' when telling us about your cruising. Stupid keyboards with the keys too close together
  20. Would certainly put a vote in for Prague or Madrid Dave
