Hahahaha this is amazing!

They paint these bloody zig zag lines everywhere these days, they're hard to avoid! Best of luck with beating them on this one mate, they were wrong to do you.

First bike? Assuming you've done all the relevant tests and therefore have ridden a tiny 125cc for a number of hours, I still suggest you get something a damn sight lighter than a HD. Passing your test and heading straight for a HD (assuming you've either done your test over 2 years ago or done Direct Access) is kind of like passing your car test and buying a 2.5 ton lorry.
haha - booked in for my DA... so it will be my first bike. The bike above is 250kg's so not as heavy as a norm HD as its smaller.
I have been reading a lot into this as it was my only concern.. (not being able to stand it up!). It also sits low to the floor and many reviews say its the perfect bike for smaller* guys . Im 5,10 so shouldn't be a big issue but I will def give it a test before I commit to anything.
cheers for the advice
I'm sure Jodi Marsh had one..... It's the 'girls' harley so you'd be fine!
haha thanks for telling everyone Stew... really appreciate that one mate
It would just be for fun, so a weekend bike (even though my z is a weekend car). the only use for it would just be to go out and ride....
my only other option would be a ducati monster 796. which is a completely different bike. If I struggle with the weight of the harley then I will have to get something more appropriate for a first bike... time will tell/I will beast the gym some more
Jodie Marsh is a beast!
I think the Harley's a great looking bike, apparently they're not great to ride though. I love the Monster though and would definitely have one. My brother has just bought a 2012 Suzuki GSR which is a naked bike with a slightly de-tuned GSXR engine in it. Very tempted to boot the R6 for one.

Buy some bells, it'll sort those bears right out

That's mental.

Have used Thomas Higgins in work as well, works with companies pretty well, not so sure about individuals though. Best of luck though mate, I don't think honest people in industry should be made to suffer.

The missus had some really nice smelling body butter, curiosity got the better of me, I tried a bit, it was disgusting and definitely not meant to be eaten!

I'm baffled as to why they put the ECUs there, it's the same on my A3.

Dear lord, how on earth did a sane person arrive at that outcome.

I hardly ever seen any 370's about but managed to spot 2 in the Hinton Airfield P&R for the F1 on Sunday, a yellow 59 plate and a black 60 plate. The black one had me going as I had no idea where I parked the car and the girlfriend said to me "if that's your car someone's robbing it"

Great weather for the weekend, I'll try not to sink in the mud

Not noticed this on mine, definitely a warranty issue, good luck

1500 in that! No wonder every time I saw one in Brighton they struggled like hell up the hills!

Wouldn't want to pass judgement on it until I've driven one. To be honest I think some people miss the point about the car, it's a car that's been built for the tuning crowd. It's like a blank canvas. 190bhp might be a bit poor but you can buy this car and drop a turbo straight in to it, tuning parts are cheap!
-
I can confirm my 370 is the same, it's a characteristic of the car to be honest, that said no grinding between 1st and 2nd so check that out, a simple gearbox oil change could sort it but that's of some concern on such a new/low mileage car.

They're dropping like flies this year, 2 inconic designers; Ferdinand Alexander Porsche and Sergio Pininfarina RIP.

Unfortunately money talks in many sports, there are a number of pay drivers I don't think should be on the grid but there we go. Money talks!

All will come out in the future, in the mean time, thoughts are with her, hope she has a speedy recovery!

Good luck mate, not envious at all I'm sure you won't be sorry to see the back of these glum shores!

Same, my laptop is old!!!

It's certainly added some of the character that was missing from the tin-top, but i'm afraid my money (like I'd ever have enough of it) would still go on a 458 and I don't even like ferrari as a brand.

That's such a tough call but I'd have to go for the McLaren!

This seems to be gaining a hell of a lot of traction online, BMW thefts are on the up and the manufacturers themselves aren't doing anything to rectify the problem.
Here's a 1M being stolen:
And the tool they use to steal them:
I'd feel sick if I owned a BMW! Still to some extent this must affect some of us (the 370 owners) as our keys work on a similar principle. I can't help but think the more we rely on technology to safeguard our property the more we leave ourselves open to exploitation.

I fell asleep watching it. Not saying it wasn't a good match, just that England were not in it and I lost interest pretty quick
Would have been even more boring if England were in it
Easy for the commentators though.
'Rooney gets the ball 1966, oh wait Spain have it now, 1966, pass to Torres 1966, 1966, 1966 and it's another goal to Spain, this reminds me of 1966, the grass was green on that pitch too 1966'

The prices will only go up so much as there is a tipping point where it becomes no cheaper to buy vouchers than to go to the supermarket and benefit from the goods and vouchers as the same price as the vouchers are on their own.
