  1. I can't really answer your question on it working with a non-Bose headunit or not, I'm sure someone could though. The hole is meant to be in the centre of the sub, I should get a better resolution picture up as this is slightly poor. I don't have the cover with the vent either, I only have what is pictured, thanks.
  2. Something like this happened to a mate a few years back when he took his car to a well known Rover/MG specialist in Luton. The scamming bastard stripped the car, stole parts and took £15k with nothing to show, it truly was sickening. The story got a hell of a lot worse than that but that's not really relevant to this thread. I hope no one gets scammed by poor garages.
  3. Nice work, shame about the car though they strike fear into me. All the unmarked police use them around here, I've come up on one before thinking it was just a normal car a rate of knots. Only to notice the ANPR in the back window at the last moment!
  4. Mate the dirt that came off my civic using the clay is unreal! The lower half of the car must have been covered in tar which was so fine it couldn't really be seen, you could certainly tell the parts that were cleaner than others, it goes from being quite rough when you start claying it to smoothing out nicely. Just wash, clayed, lime juiced and black holed my civic, gotta go out now but I will wax it later with the Dodo SN. I suppose this is more of a trial of the products and if I had more time I would have machine polished the civic and got some 2000 on some of the scratches. So far given the time and tools available I am very happy with the finish, that Poorboy's black hole is truly amazing stuff!
  5. I got one of these yesterday in the post Chris, shame royal mail obliterated it in the post lol. Right I got a load of products, bought the small DoDo SN wax to see what it's like before I buy a big pot, I have no doubt that I will be amazed from the comments. Just wondering if I should give all these products a whirl on my workhorse civic before I attack the 370. I know the civic would be a more rewarding job as it's 10 years old and the paint is somewhat dulling whereas the 370 is brand new.
  6. RIP, they need to bring these soldiers home, we're losing them at a vast rate, it's sad.
  7. If he'd have gotten further all would have been forgotten. Shame we've all got hear about 1966 for another 4 years.
  8. Done but seriously if you want to up the views I serious recommend a new title, something along the lines "horrible wakeboard accident" you'd be surprised how much faster the views go up haha.
  9. Everyone was loving him until England as a team failed. In my eyes these players, coaches and everyone in football get paid far too much. They don't care, they really don't. Bunch of obnoxious chumps.
  10. When you say expensive, would you be able to say how much? I am massively paranoid of picking up stone chips especially after my 350z had such thin paint.
  11. I might consider this sooner rather than later, as the paint has no marks yet due to the car only having 250 miles on it. Surely this renders further detailing pointless to some extent though?
  12. I saw this on the370z.com: http://www.the370z.com/members-370z-gallery/16730-40th-anni-z-finally-installed-clear-bra-tint.html Is there anywhere in the UK that does this?
  13. I have a standard Bose Sub & Amp here, perfect for replacing faulty Bose audio. I have no use for it now, it came out of a low mileage 350Z. £60 + p&p
  14. so much wrong about this! I don't know where to start.
  15. I hope whatever you were watching was well worth it seriously though mate, they all seem to come at once eh, bill after bill!
  16. Karma already caught up with the offender, he stooped so low as to key someones car. I think life dealt him a rough hand there. No respectful person would do this, they'd confront the person they had a problem with.
  17. No harshness here, although I can't speak for the older 350z engines as mine was a 313 which felt pretty smooth in the high revs. I've not noticed any harshness in my 370z though.
  18. Brilliant info guys as always. I'm going to see what I can get my hands on now
  19. Great info guys, cheers. Martin, what is this bucket you speak of? Sounds like the cure to everyone's problems! I thoroughly wash my buckets out each time I use them but what you mention sounds better. It's the black paint that gets me worried, this being my third black car is the space of a year I know all too well how much they mark and how easily. Chris, it's got just shy of 250 miles on it now so I want to make sure it's protected now to reduce damage from the elements. Wasso, I'll check out the supernatural, cheers. Out of interest how big are the 30ml pots? Are they literally enough for one car or what?
  20. Right, I'm a bit new to proper detailing. I've cleaned cars before but there is another level to cleaning cars that I need to get into. I want to make sure my paint work is protected from the word go, I'm quite aware of the marks that can build up on cars. I've just been having a quick look at the Dodo Juice range and for a basic detail it would seem that I need to get some pH neutralizing shampoo, something like the lime juice one Dodo Juice do, then the car needs to be waxed (again going on the Dodo Juice range) I'd need something like the Blue Velvet as my car is black. Finally I'd need to finish it off with a hardener, something like Red Mist. Can anyone advise me on products to carry out this sort of 'detail' as it were? My main aim is to reduce swirls and to keep the paint looking fresh. I've put off polisihing/waxing my car yet until I'm sure of the products I need.
  21. Hi guys, I bought this not so long ago from bhavin85 with every intention of fitting it to my car. As my car is now gone I never actually got to fit it up to the car which was a little disappointing. So it's sat in my house ever since I got it about a month or so ago. I want what I paid for it £200 (+ p&p). Here are the pics: As you can see in the last pic there is some spidering in the laquer, this really isn't too bad and never would have bothered my when on the car. Bhavin can vouch for this as well. Any questions reply to the thread or pm me, thanks.
  22. Integra Type R (DC2), these really are great cars for the money and cheap as chips to run and maintain!
