  1. Great selection, makes me want to go! But those prices
  2. 300ZX is definitely a Z car, a Z32!
  3. Can't stand Alonso, he whinges so much, a poor workman always blames his tools. He reminds me of the whiny guy Sacha Baron Cohen plays in Talladega Nights.
  4. I'm anti Apple for exactly the same reasons as you. Whenever they bring out a new product it reminds me of this: get one of these, so much simpler:
  5. Haha I'd love to see your family holidays! I think I may hitch a lift with the missus parents. Might be the cheaper although sleeping pills don't work on me, I took 4 nytols on the way over to canada, coupled with as much alcohol as I was allowed and I just could not sleep, needless to say when we got over the other side I felt grouchy as hell. I'm planning to go round Europe in the car next summer anyway, might do Modball so maybe I should just save my time for that at least I might get some traction. I think my mind has been made up now, think I might invest in an iPod car charger then
  6. I have a bit of a dilemma here and it should be easily sorted but I'd love other peoples opinions. I'm due to go snowboarding at the end of January next year in St Anton, Austria, a resort I've never been to before. I have 3 options and they are as follows: 1. Book a flight, 2. Drive the 370 3. Hitch a lift with the girlfriends parents. There are pros and cons for each and here they are: Flight - I can't get a flight for under £250 on the saturday to Austria, with the girlfriend that's £500 between us for what is a relatively short flight and one that we can do on the friday for half the price, return. The friday is a no-go as we both have work and the apartment isn't booked until saturday so going for that one means I need to factor in a hotel (another £50 or so at the very least). Drive - now this should really be the one, it was my first idea. Cardiff to St Anton is a 900 miles drive (1800 miles round trip). Petrol will work out roughly the same as flying, maybe a little less but we need to factor in any tolls (I'm not sure of the total of tolls from here to Austria) and the channel crossing. Really I would far rather drive than sit in some tiny plane in cattle class. Plus I get to take the car through Germany and put it through it's paces. I have no problem driving to Austria, plus the girlfriend is insured on the car too so she can do the boring bits haha. The problem is when I get to Austria and to the resort. Apparently by law I must have snow chains and in the owners manual snow chains + 19s don't mix. Is this right? I don't really want to drive all the way over there to be slipping all over the place as I know how much of a handful the Zed is in snow. Hitching a lift - The only con of this is it's majorly boring, I have to sit in the back of the girlfriends parents car, my iPod might run out haha. Advice and opinions please
  7. Fantastic exhaust, I doubt this will sit around for long. I wish I had a 350 to stick a Nismo on!
  8. Best way I found was simply to sit in the car for an hour or two and have a play with the menu options - I'm no whizz when comes to technology but its all quite logical once you find the options available and when you do need to plan a route the clarity of the instructions and viusal guidance are extremely good. Mind you, I had the car about 3 months before I decided to sit down and fathom it out Thank god its not just me then ....................... haha and what annoys me even more is the girlfriend knows how to use it better than me! I'm taking your advice Ebized, I'm going to sit in the car and figure it out
  9. +1 it's all about the arse! Guess that's what the designer of the 370 thought - give it some more arse Pulling up on the drive then behind my 370 I thought that's one hell of arse! But as for the 350, I always loved the buldge in the bonnet on mine as it was a facelift.

    Fuming !!!!

ive had her 20 years n the car 3 wks!!!! i have got my priorites right! And I'm starting to think having my girlfriend insured on my 370 is a bad idea at 24
  11. The German cars have been on top for so long and coming from a family that owns loads of German cars it's nice to see the Japs taking a shot. That article on Pistonheads is okay, but the comments are hilarious. Most people only drive either German cars of Jap cars and have very biased views. All I can say is it's nice to see some advertising that doesn't bang on about fuel efficiency!
  12. I drove mine everyday through out winter, until I couldn't get out of my road anymore lol
  13. I don't use mine for work, not because I'm bothered about the miles, it's because I hate parking it in car parks! I can still drive it whenever but I avoid car parks like the plague
  14. No drink driving for a few months then I joke. Right little buggers for stealing the plates though!
  15. That was my first thought, hope it is the wheel bearing now though since you bought it.
  16. I find the bloody thing so complicated I refuse to use it! In fairness I haven't read the manual but I would have thought it would be a little more straight forward. I do however love the media component of it, the iPod compatibility, being able to use a USB stick and all that. If I don't read the manual any time soon I best hope I bump into one of you guys so you can give me a run through
  17. Welcome to the 370 side and the Black Edition club do you know what number it is? I don't need to tell you how much you will love it.
  18. Looks awesome mate, I'd be tempted to go myself but everyone goes on about the costs being astronomical.
  19. I get you now, thanks for the explanation. I would offer my assistance but I've only owned mine for a month.
  20. A lifer? What's that? Don't call me stupid I just don't buy the Top Gear mag
  21. bump! please note this is for a facelift 350z! If it was for a non-facelift I would have sold it about 5 times over by now
  22. Damn, I would never go to Halfrauds for mixed paint anyway, they are not specialists. Hope you manage to sort it mate.
