  1. It's actually quite sad to see these cars in this state, especially the XK150. My dad has an XK140 in the state it should be in and it truly is a beautiful car.

I'm 25 and I'd say I'm outside the average age bracket of a Z owner. I don't mind that, it makes the Z owners a respectable lot! Especially when I came from the Honda scene which is to be frank is full of kids.
  3. No such thing as an accident just idiots, we've all been there.
  4. Fairly sure these aren't standard highway code points I shall find out when I re-take mine in a few weeks
  5. I know the weather probably played a huge contributing factor but the standards of driving on the motorway is shocking, although I find 70mph to be tedious at times considering it was a limit brought in when your average car would have wobbled up to that speed and struggled to get back down I believe raising it to 80 would cause chaos. There really needs to be proper education, motorway driving should be a compulsory part of learning to drive (possibly incorporated the same way pass plus is once your test has been passed). It's amazing you can pass a test without using a motorway, utter madness.
  6. Mate I feel for you, that moment when you know your nice night has been completely ruined by something either of you did (in this case her fault). It's not nice. I would like to say there are worse things than putting your car through a car wash but simply put there aren't, sorry. I'm glad I know my missus would never pull a stunt like this she knows better

And there you have it, my exact thoughts. Toyota should stick to Prius'. Their heyday as a car manufacturer who made sports cars ended in the 90's. 2006 actually thats when they stopped production of their last sports car the mr2 roadster Good point I was thinking more along the lines of Supras etc...

  11. This isn't far from where I live and we live on the cliff a little further down, although I must add the cliff doesn't appear to be falling away at the same rate here!
  12. same here 404's Same here.
  13. I would have been screaming like a little girl!
  14. I'm missing out this show looks hilarious!
  15. This was a question in the pub quiz last night, we lost by one point and I had no idea what the answer to this was, wish I paid more attention then I would have seen this useful post. So funny, he totally loses it!
  16. On TalkTalk at my house I use a Netgear router, can't really fault it for what I use. The girlfriends parents have sky broadband and it seems good, it's much faster than mine (Cable vs analogue).
  17. good luck with it! its a blast and lots of fun when you get on a bigger bike, i absolutely loved my das have you been on a small bike in the mean time or your just going straight to 600? I've used smaller bikes in the past although the biggest was a 125 and never on public roads so I'm going straight to a 600 but my plan is to get the das out the way now and look to get on a bike in the spring next year as I'm not planning to tackle the roads in the winter when I have a car.
  18. That's amazing, I was going to post about the Zed but was beat to it (watched the video before posting).
  19. I didn't grow up with him but obviously know of him, seems we're left with some really poor presenters these days, it's a shame. He seemed like a really generous guy. RIP.
  20. I heard they will be trialing this for the next 3 years. I'm happy, I live in the south, the scots won't be though I hate this time of year, nothing worse than getting out of work in the dark
  21. Got an appointment to sort out my direct access tomorrow, I can't wait
  22. plenty of cheaper petrol in london, more competition! Not true, was in London last weekend, the fuel was a couple pence more expensive in the places I saw it for sale than in Cardiff thankfully I was in my soot chucker which did the return trip on half a tank.
