Yeah it's a shame it hasn't sold yet, but I understand in the current situation people may be finding it hard to get the money together. But at least I still get to enjoy driving it! Its a funny situation, the recession has helped me with regards to getting on the property ladder, but made it difficult to sell the car! Kurt

Hi there people, The price is now £10,799 ono.
-
I've lowered the price to £11,995 as I am close to buying a home! If anyone is considering buying a 350z I'd highly recommend viewing it as it is a stunning car. Kurt

Afternoon people! I've now lowered the price to £12,750 as i'm getting ever closer to purchasing a house! I'm now on leave for the next couple of weeks, so I should be able to reply more quickly! Thanks, Kurt

Leather is just cold in the winter and sweaty in the summer anyway

Thanks for all the replies Here are some more photos of the car. I've not been home long and the weather looks like it might rain, so the car isn't as clean as I like it to be! It still gives an very good impression of how good condition the car is still in. I shall clean it this weekend if the weather holds out! Thanks, Kurt

Hi people, Unfortunately I need to sell the zed, as I need to buy a house and as a first time buyer need to raise money for a deposit! The problem is i'm looking around to roughly value it for sale, but zeds with nissan nismo kits are very few and far between so finding hard to price. As its just got 30,000 miles, plenty of tax and mot, full service history etc I was thinking somewhere between 13k-14k. Does this seem about fair for both sides? Thanks for your advice. Sad times I've had a great time owning and driving it, and everyone on here has always been helpful and a good laugh. If the euromillions winner fancys buying me a home I will keep it! May px for a home Thanks

I had a full set of 040s on it, never really had an issue with them, but a couple of weeks ago had an mot and needed new rears. Aparantly they are discontinued, so had a set of avons put on the rear. I was in the " I wont notice any difference as im not schummacher" group! About 3 miles in on a dual carridgeway I immediately felt the difference to the point I have near zero confidence in its handling now I now have some matching fronts on order and fitting them Thursday. So you were right I used to think my Stilo handled like a cloud, looking back maybe the 4 mixed tyres had been a contributing factor

I rang up Norwich main dealer and got quoted a good price a few weeks ago (VAT free offer). So I called the usual Nissan dealer I use at halesworth and they matched the price. Under £300 for a p3 if I remember rightly. I feel your pain. Had it serviced last month, and next weekend I got MOT, tax, and 2 rear tyres. And I may have driven past you on the A47 last sunday night!

Thanks for the quick replies, I am now downloading both of them, and also the program off the link in the PM. Hopefully at least one should work! Cheers -
Hi, I got this portable external usb hard drive for my laptop which I was using to keep all my files on. Normally when I plug it in, the laptop automatically recognises it, and opens and shows the files. Now for no aparant reason when I plug it in now, it does nothing for a couple of minutes, and says the disc needs to be formatted, and i cant access my files. I am aware that formatting it will delete all my files off it, so is there any way I can get the files off it before I format it so I dont lose my stuff on it. If not, I will just have to bite the bullet. Its a 500gb Seagate if that is any help. Thanks

After letting it settle, oil level seems good now, needed a bit over a litre of oil put in it (7500miles after last service). Took it for a run and the pressure seemed good Thanks for the help everyone
-
Cool some good info there. So whats regarded as a recommended max psi then?
-
The oil pressure gauge is accurate ........ I checked mine last week ............ but that's exactly what it measures - the pressure NOT the amount of oil .............. the only way to measure the amount of oil in the car is via the dipstick Thats cool then. The reason i've been worrying about it today it read a little lower than normal (dropped to the 30psi mark) where normally its pretty close either side of the middle mark (60psi). It was only after a couple of minutes of driving so its probably normal, I just dont normally look at the gauge a lot when im driving! The hard to read stick is just making me paranoid When I first checked it there was residual oil just under the filler cap when I took the cap off after I stopped the engine, so theres obviously oil flowing around the engine!
-
Will leave it a while then, perhaps I havent been giving it enough time to settle (10-15mins) Where abouts does the pressure gauge take its reading from on the engine anyway? Just wondering how effective an indication it is.
-
Thanks for the advice, its just irritating how its not clearing telling me the level It could be fine, or it could be overful as theres random splodges of oil on the stick, or so low that there isnt a consistent line Today when driving after a couple of minutes, when going about 30mph and a fairly high gear whilst revving low, the gauge dropped to the 1/4 line (30psi i think), the lowest ive ever seen it. But on the other hand its cold out, just left, and low demand on engine. Or it could be low on oil, see my dillema
-
Ive been thinking the same thing One side of the stick the oil on the stick is off/on patchy up to about halfway on the stick! Whereas the other side theres not a lot on it. Where it is removed from the engine at an angle its probably dragging on the side a bit, smearing it. Hard to explain, but where the oil level touches the stick is it quite a solid covering if that makes sense? On all my other cars i've had its an obvious line where the level is. This one isnt very clear. Just being safe
-
Checking my oil level, trying to check the oil level, but the stick is so badly designed every time i check the level it gives me a different reading, and on both sides. One side indicated i have about 4000 litres in there, whilst the other side empty! Can someone take a photo of the stick showing the right level please, as I dont know what the right level level looks like on the stick, as my oil smear is patchy all the way up it! Need to drive 70 miles tonight and would like to get it right while its still light out Thanks

Got some today, have to admit the lid colour doesnt look that close a match, but thats not really a fair comparison so i'll paint a scrap bit of metal and see how it looks on that. The match looks good in the american forum photos though

going down. heal toe - down blip - up Heal/toeing is blipping isnt it? As you're quickly revving for a split second while dipping the clutch. Bikers call it blipping when they clutch and rev on downshift. I thought the idea was to match the revs with the lower gear/higher revs at a given speed?
-
Went back there and managed to get it swapped for a different model. Luckily it was a 14 day cooling of period and got there about 10 mins before the 14 day point! Thanks for the advice everyone

Im guessing capacitive are the ones where it only works with your finger, whereas resistive means you can use sylus's and stuff?
