My younger brother recorded a video today on his camera, he uploaded it onto you tube. Check it out: Anyone know how to embed it ? Thanks, Pete.

Feck it man, go for it !! If you really want it, then pay that much insurance. If you don't spend your money on clothes, drinking, holidays, etc then go for it and buy and insure the zed, you won't regret it. I was once in your position, luckily i can now afford clothes, drinking and holidays aswell as the zed

Thats nice for you Pete Hardy har har

You'll easily fall into the Buddy Club cat back exhaust system for that kind of money, including fitting, lovely system, nice and loud. Adrian and myself love ours !

Congrats, Mark !

Jesus, that is some amount of damage ! They can't have been that professional if they did so much damage, sounds like they were winging it with very little experience of helming a big, powerful powerboat. Doubt they have a powerboat licence ! The owners insurance premium is going to take some hike next year i'd imagine thanks to these dickheads. How long do they think the repair work will take ? And how has the onwer been through all of this so far ?? Are they gutted ? Cheers, Pete.

Lovely example of the best coloured zed !! Well done and enjoy her ! Pete.

Sounds well, now all ya need is HFC.
-
What makes it a CAT D ??? Tell us what happened, easier to tell you the value then.
-
Looks exactly the same as mine Heath mate And Yeah pete, lots of interior vibrations. I have the berk HFC aswell. So our Zeds sound exactly the same Have you done anything to stop the vibrating or fizzing from the interior ?? I'd love to stop the fizzing, gets annoying after a while. Should have pics of the exhaust up tomorrow when i get a chance to clean the car !

Will get some pics taken over the weekend and get them up.

It appears my clutch is failing after 18,900 miles
Pete350z replied to Nigelp's topic in 350Z Technical
Very odd, i'm on 53k miles and still on my original clutch. Some of these cars seem to hold onto their orginial clutch forever or let them go very early on in life. -
You sir need your head examined fitting manifolds with the Buddy Club Can i ask do you have HFC with the system already ?? And do you find a lot of the boot interior fizzing under heavy acceleration due to the noise ?

Incorrect. PDK is the buttons on the steering wheel which is hated by all motoring journos and even the Porsche chief test driver himself. On the new MK2 997 Turbo, which i presume is the model you're buying, then Porshce have finally seen the error of their ways and for £280 are offering customers who opt for the expensive PDK option to have paddles installed behind the sterring wheel instead of the buttons. I saw a black MK 997 Turbo the other day and it was gorgeous, fair play, nice motor !

I had a nismo and berks and i just changed to a Buddy Club with the berks, nismo was loud but the BC is so much louder !! Sorry i don't have anything else to add ! http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/ ... V_0033.flv Video of old set up !
-
oh and a big thank you to Sarah and Gaz in Envy for sorting the exhaust for me and dealing with all my queries !!
-
If it actually was any louder i would take the exhaust off the car or just always avoid the car and drive the g/f's car. It's so loud you really need to be in the mood to drive her ! Luckily i'm always in the mood, except last sunday really hung over, could have done with a standard exhaust then

Howdy folks, I recently decided to change my exhaust system from the Nismo i had. After much deliberation i went for the Buddy Club, i can't understand why more Zed's are running this system, it's awesome !! I love the look of the slashed jap style back boxes and it's a very pretty system ! Well i took a short video of it a while ago, it's mated upto the Berk cats and is VERY LOUD !! I think the bungs will be going in very soon to quieten it down or i'll be deaf by the new year. Let me know what ye think of the sound, it sounds better in person as the mic on my camera didn't pick up the full sound of the zorst. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/ ... V_0092.flv Cheers, Pete.

I agree with those sentiments, but only in the uk. Looking at the standard of 350z i've seen for sale on pistonheads over the last 2 years it's obvious that more and more "chavs" are getting their hands on the 350z as it becomes cheaper and doing terrible things to them, mainly things like (preparing to be flamed for this) tinting their rear lights black I hate this, only cars in ireland you see doing this are @*!# box civic's from the early 90's !! Thankfully the 350z is rare and commands a much higher asking price in Ireland due to the VRT tax we must pay on cars, also the 1600 road tax means a lot of people can't afford to tax them, never mind insure them aswell. So 350z's in ireland remain relatively rare and untouched by the chavs, they are all still driving civic's over here. Cheers, Pete.

Shame about the weather mind ! I was planning on going out for a bit of fun later but it's pissing and really windy at the moment which is putting me off !!

2006 GUNMETAL 21k FNSH XENONS £15400 / £14500
Pete350z replied to givememorepower's topic in Zeds For Sale
Says it's a 296 coupe in the add ?? As in 296 bhp ?? But it's a mk 1 350z, so 278 bhp ? -
Was that car crashed before ?? Looks a lot like a car owned on the other site by a member until he crashed it front on and it was wrote off.
-
Gorgeous rims and a smaskig looking 350z !
-
That ain't no Nismo exhaust either !! Nismo is a single oem looking back box, that system on the car in the add has two seperate cans, looks like an injen system to me.
