Havent had the chance to make it to any meets yet, but now my cars looking just about how i want it im wanting to get involved!
im in MK but dont mind an hour or two's drive in any direction.
i know theres something going on at billing aquadrome (northampton) in may, but rather than just turning up and parking with all the peasants, wanted to know if theres a way of getting parked up with all the other zeds??
im new to all this so forgive my stoopidness
where in MK you from, i live in Silsoe just a junction and half down from mk but always shopping etc there
I'm in the Shenleys Area.

Having done a window reset I still have wind noise at high speed (touching 3 figure sum for speed)
One thing I have noticed on drivers is when the window is wound right down and I open and close the door the window rattles quite bad with a kinda of squelch noise. This isn't apparant on the passenger side door
The noise I think is coming towards the side closest to the outside door handle.
Has anyone had this problem and know what the root cause is and how to rectify it??
Cheers :thumb:

Hey I think there is enough MK Zed peeps in the vicinity to warrant a meet of some kind??
Not aware there has ever been one organised recently in MK!

2006 GT With Black Nismo Wheels
This seems like a really good deal on a 56 plate GM GT with Black nismo wheels
It doesn't disclose mileage which leads me to believe that it must have done quite a bit for that asking price.
But then again the seat bolster doesn't look that worn!

Sarah is in the process of pricing some bits up for me, namely the rear Amuse half bumper to complete the kit but also the front lip diffuser (sweet) but also (low scrapey scrapey).
Here is the lip diffuser
I thought C&A went busted ages ago!!!! Clearly not!

So will the ebay cup holder fit my car?
No because that is listed for the right side passenger!
-
The facelift ones have trays and not cup holders (Sure this was the case when I looked at Craigus motor)
TBH I have the cup holder and I dont think it is all that great. I put a can in there and it sits on the ****

Top Gear in St Albans were the creme de la creme back in the days of when custom made exhausts took off!
If anything they were one of the first to provide such service! Might be worth dropping it over there and I'm sure they can sort something out

Welcome buddy!
I've just sold my S2000 and got a 350Z.
You wont be disappointed! I certainly wasn't
Happy Hunting!

chilli red is doing a deal on them
Is that a set from both the front and rear?
read the thread
I've read the thread (even before posting this potential deal) and it is marginally cheaper on eurocar parts as delivery if free however on the thread I see people ordering 2 sets so I am let to assume that 1 set is only a pair for front/back not front AND back
So if what I posted is for front AND back then the price is a steal!!
sorry, I assumed you would of guessed when members were ordering 2 sets it was for front and rear
I thought it was the case but it was the price listed on ECP (now irrelevant as it is not correct) that lead me to question it

i want a remap now... who does the uprev maps around south east way?
Abbey Motorsport is your best bet!

This doesn't have the GT pack but does have Brembos and Rays alloys http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1766841.htm
The seller has dropped that by £200 so I'm guessing you can negotiate more off on that!
This is a good deal on a 06 and perhaps you can haggle on price too!

Aye as Dan says - PY21W is incorrect, you want wedge bulbs, also known as W21W (or T20 as Dan says)
Ahh ok that is stupid as I searched via Vehicle through the site!
My bad!

Phillips Silver Vision Indicator Bulbs
Seems like a good deal assuming these are corect for the Zed.
It says twin box so I am assuming it is a set pair each for both front and rear??
If so then it looks like a bargain @ £15.42

Well nearly had it a week and done a semi-detail on the car with the time I have..
Sooo....
This is what I had prior to the Zed:
and now I have this:
In the dirty state when I picked up:
And Now after a quick clean and mini-detail:
I think the only people that will know the real state it was in is Neil and Craig!!!
ENJOY and thanks to all those that helped with the logistics and purchase! (Neil and Craig)

I think Scotland is a Breeding Ground for Zeds!
I picked mine up from there!

Seen this motor about in Milton Keynes
It is a very tidy example!

on the way of folding mirrors, who has the guide for auto folding mirrors that integrates with the alarm??
-
best way is to remove the wheel, peel back the arch liner and them remove the 5" grey disc from the back to the headlight to allow access to the bulb
Thanks
Just to clarify:
HID bulb is D2R
Hi Beam is H7
Sidelight is W5W
Indicator is T10
Sounds about right?

Has anyone got pics of the luggage net attached in boot?
Must admit , I have never thought of photoing a cargo net
and it's too dark now
Its an uncommon request but I do have like 1 hook either side of the strut and I imagine this is where you secure the net to

Would it be the 3 bolts that secure the glass to the mechanism that you tightened or the actual mechanism secure to the door that requires tightening?
Cheer and thanks for the tips
