if its disks aswell, how much are we looking? and how often should they be replaced?

HI All, Anyone had any joy with Pocketdyno on iphone/ ipod touch? I tried it before on my Smart Roadster but because the ride was fairly bumpy, it didnt work that well however others have said that it works really well! link: http://www.pocketdyno.com/index-1.html

lets just say i got enough off, however the back tires will need replacing soonish as they are fairly low (used this to get money off). Also i rung up the garages the car had been serviced at and the last garage who did the last service has said they noted teh front breaks were 80% worn so would need doing fairly soonish, since then teh car has done about 4k miles, so i imagine this i will have to get this done aswell fairly soon. Breaks according to the garage are about £300 to buy and fit, which didnt seem so bad, can anyone confirm? Many thanks, Neo! HI all! So i check out the car and.....it was BLOODY SUPURB! imaculate condition. got the price down and left a deposit! now i have a week to wait to pick it up!

answered my own question (teh search button was usefull ) But just to confirm service history on this car should be p1,p2,p1,p3 in which case hopefully i miss heard him and it didnt miss the p1 second service, the car is being sold with a full nissan service history so would be odd for him to lie... Assumig i like that car and can get it for a good price, is it worth me calling up teh nissan garages the car was meant to be serviced at to check that the stamps are cosha... apparently the car doesnt have any of the reciepts etc... He did say on the phone the car is faultless a few tiny stone chips on the front but otherwise no scuffs on the wheels paint imaculate, inside pristine etc..

ahh... im not sure on the phone the dealer said it had p1,p2,p3 and the last one had been done at 38.5 k miles...so your right it does seem a service short... maybe i miss heard him.. what is the order of the services

Also i called up insurance and told them the trader told me the kit was bought with the car as a addition (which is what i have been told not an aftermarket addon) and they said that is fine, you declare it but no extra cost is added. So ace! does anyone recongnise the car/ plate, apparently it has only had 2 owners, and has had 3 services since new, that sound about right? the last one it had was a "p3" am i right in thinking that was the large one? I made a mistake the car is actually a 2005, and has a full Nissan service history.... Will that help prove the car is a uk car if I have a look through it?

From the research i have done, there is no way the car is worth that much (unless the kit is worth about £2k) you can regurlarly get 350z GTs for around £12k, and i have been looking for the last 2months or so. Also with my powers of persuation and the fact it has been there for quite a while having spoken to them (porobably the cost again) On a side note though, how much would you expect my insruance quote to go up? Also will i have problems on ever single hit, sleeping policeman, curb, cattle rid that i get close to? You may do well then if the guy hasnt been watching the market! prices have gone up! Weird question on the insurance as non of us know you or how much your paying at the moment!! Ask them as they will have the info perhaps? It shouldnt be that much difference but it depends who your going with... its not been lowered so no! I agree prices have gone up, from 6 months or so ago by about 15-20% back to where they should be, but in general you can pick up a 350z gt uk model, 40k miles on the clock in good nick for around £11-12.5k from a dealer. Hi All, So i think i have found a car: It is a 2004 350z with the nismo kit, they have said this was factory fitted.. is this possible? Would i have to declare this to my insurance? The car has done about 40k miles and is currently listedn at £13.9k which is out of my league but im hoping to bring this down by about 1.5k . links to pictures below: Its from a company called Churchill performance cars. jeeze how you manage that, shame i cant just go "i know someone called reaper on the forums who says he got if for x"! lol It is coming out for me at around the £1.05k mark with elephant on confused.com I have 3 years NCB (however i did have a crash 3 years ago, but only a small one 2k cost), my mum as a secondary driver (with like 40 years no claims, no speeding offences etc), i dont have any speeding offences. And only want a voluntary excess of £250. IM 24 and i live in Weybridge. Anything on here that you guys do better at?

I havent tried Chris Knott yet, but if i remember from a few other forums, there are a few pre requisits like you have to be 25 etc...But i will have a look now. This is elephant, so they arnt small if i call and speak to someone should i be able to put them straight? The cars i am looking at arnt imports... Let me know your thoughts, Neo

Hi all, So as you know i am looking for a Zed, when i originally checked insurance being im 24 its exspensive but bearable...however that was manually putting in a 2004 car, with Gt pack - it would find on confused.com a NISSAN 350Z GT COUPE 2003 3449CC COUPE MANUAL PETROL - which eventually gives me a quote of £1k HOWEVER! for some reason when i find number plates of the euqivelent car i am interested in, it keeps thinking it is a Nissasn 350z FAIRLADY....(i have tried about 10 cars!) and then gives me a final quote of over £1.6k... So my question to you is, can i assume the car assuming i go for a standard gt version is the first quote and not the second, and what happens when i call up my insurance and they use the reg.... Any ideas?

no sadly i never drove his, as it was fairly new when he got it, it was his pride and joy and i was young so no way he let me near the drivers seat!

hi all thanks for that, by the sounds of it then, as long as i get a looked after well serviced car i should be ok. i only do about 5k-8k miles a year, so running costs will be very low for me which is great, although a huge jump from the Smart roadster lol! What i dont understand however is also, if i want a gt version am i looking at £400 a year tax? as some sites seem to say its £250
