they cost a pretty penny.
Il put some on by tommorow. oh and btw, i didnt even take all the bumper off. Just the top row and the two corners and the bumper drooped forward enough for me to get to. surprised how easy it was.
yeh very lucky to get them done.

My new facelift headlights are now in.
My thanks to Paul for customising them for me,
they look siiiick. While i was there i put in clear reflectors too. Made such a difference and they suit the car which is what i was after anyway.
Pics to follow as in all honesty i coudnt be bothered to take em so i will for any ones future questions/answers etc.
Me happy

Probably just an hour or 2's labour cost so from 40-100 quid i spose. a mechanic is doing mine soon.

YUP thanks for the info been a great help.

oh yeh i understand what your saying mate but i may as well finish what ive got left (another 20 sheets
) in the arches were the noise is coming from, but it has made a difference.
but was a piece of wee getting the trim apart and that tool works wonders (thanking)
-
Well yeh it will add weight but i dont think it anything to go by. Unless yours is Brawn gp car in disguise.
Well i went out again and it has go more quiet in there so maybe i was too critical i can hear the tyres alot so it must be cos there the original tyres that come from nissan, just changed to the same over the years,
ive got more Damplifier coming so when the cars wheels are off agin il put some in the arches but i would say that this has bin worth while.
The real test is the Motorway i think

Ok after taking out nearly all the interior and fitting 2 skins worth of sound proof matting or damplifier. i went out for a little drive to hear any differences. there is a little but i may have to get up to higher speeds to properly find out.
i was going to take the wheels off and fill the metal part of the arches with more of it hoping this will do the trick
other than that there is clear reflectors going on, new custom head lights, new cyrstal rear lights and a new exhaust. So my drive will look like a nissan parts store over the next few weekends.

Manly offset
so how much would it be for the first set with some tyres etc?
-
ooooo thats good to know. the first set on your thread are real nice.
would my 20mm spacers still be used or does the offset (or whatever it is
) fill the arches for me?
so many questions
-
i bought one of them and th roller came this morning. ordered at 4 yesterday
im dunna sound proff ma ass off!!
-
If you buy a set witha polished lip is there any garentee on corrosion etc.
Its only i bought a set a year ago and the started to oxidise after 3 months.
Like the first set tho thinking of buying actually, if my wallet can take it .
-
i just had another look for it and found it so il give it a go. Doesnt look hard just have to be careful not to break the clips.
Just needed to know where to start really rather than start pulling trim in random order
-
tried it but it only shows around the centre console tho
-
Is there a guide to removing the trim behind the seats. I.E glove boxes, boot trim ?
-
maybe ring the DVLA ?
-
On any exhaust does it drone in the cabin or does it depend on what exhaust you have.
