@Bunning interesting to know, I went from Up Rev to ECUtek as well but didn't experience any issues with UpRev while I had it. Abbey did my 370z and look after it still, I'd definitely recommend them as well.
Ok, to be honest this is the first time I've ever heard any Z owner have an issue with UpRev. Where are you reading the bad reviews?
Good luck getting it sorted, I'm surprised someone can't just flash the ECU with base maps, would be interesting to hear the final diagnosis and fix.
I think about selling occasionally because I don't drive my Z much, but every time I go fro a drive, I change me mind, it's all about the grin factor for me.
So, I'm basically saying the same as above, unless you need the ££ for something else.
Is there a club stand at this?
Just posting this up as I'm taking the S12 to this as I can't do JapFest at Silverstone in April as it's a mates wedding the day before and I can't imagine me being in a fit state to drive sunday, let alone in the morning.
Looks really tidy : )
They're great cars, enjoy, but if he hasn't had rwd cars before, get him to take his time, the TC as still crap if you stamp on the loud pedal coming off a roundabout in the wet
I'm puzzled why you don't want UpRev on there? I'd much rather have a mapped Z than stock.
I started with UpRev on my 370Z then went to ECUtek, but only for the extra features, not because there was anything wrong with UpRev.
We had an odd rattle on a mates motorbike exhaust recently and traced it by using a screwdriver to apply pressure near the joints to see where the rattle source was, might help?
@docwra Holy crap, hard hits.
I went backwards at speed towards the concrete by the toilets and only just got stopped in time, so I'll be being very careful, probably not much top track action, just a feeler for how she's handling.
Happy New Year : )
Wow, good bit of snow there.
So, stupid (maybe not so stupid) question, presumably you use all these parts to make molds and then make GRP/FRP parts from the molds?
Drift day booked, DWYB at Pod in February, my wife and I both have the day off so we can finally use up some of these tyres I've been saving up.
Might be brave enough for the top track, we'll see how the figure 8's and kidney go first
