Seen this twice now parked up just by the speed camera as you come down the hill opposite the toat hill garage. 2004 standard by the looks of it.

When you say "secured with tape" did you just poke it through the tape entry slot and selotape it in place or did you remove the whole unit and tape it in somewhere? May seem like a silly question but want to try this without possibly filling the head unit with gel from a broken bag trying to stuff it through the slot! Cheers

Great tip thanks for the post ... Although as my girlfriend was also reading this over my shoulder I now have to buy her a new pair of shoes to gain said gel pack!!

Admiral all the way I got no claims at no extra cost. I insure my sister and my mum on my zed even tho I have no intention to ever let them behind the wheel it gets the cost down a fair bit so might be worth a try. On a negative note tho there was a thread on here the other day saying admiral were rubbish if you ever have to make a claim..so just dont crash!!

Followed a nice yellow fairlady zed along the A27 into Bognor before it turned off through old shripney. Sat late arvo bout 6ish. Private plate G4 ...

Spotted a nice blade zed waiting in traffic around 4.50pm today in Lower Road Great Bookham,Surrey. Private plate GAZ ... Nearly stacked my van into the back of someone checking it out as I passed!

Hiya and welcome,I went from a 106 to a zed! I only had a little Quiksilver too so the jump was great and still lovin' it 6month on! Enjoy

At last an advantage to being a shortarse!! I may not be able to find jeans to fit without dragging on the floor but at least I can drive to as many shopping centres as i like in great comfort! Seriously tho hope you find a solution soon before it comes to selling up!

Thanks for the fast response as always Thought as much and i just spent ages getting my tips nice and shiney again! I would go for the scorpion but dont like the sharp edged tips to them. do they come with rolled ones at all like the nissan oem I have on now?

My zed sounds different and i think the exhaust is blowing I have had a good look in the search section but just need some conformation that this is the case? I have taken a pic of where i think the problem is. its leaking from the flange as well as the welds i think so does this mean i need a new back box? Thanks Rog
