  1. I got called up last summer, I told them that I can't afford to lose that amount of money compared to what they offer as 'pay' and that as I'm self employed I have work lined up for those dates that can't be re arranged. I got let off so fingers crossed they don't come calling back
  2. Epic!! Quality American build quality there on show
  3. Oh my word the force is strong with that one! Hubba hubba!! As per the question, 1st zed for me. 4 1/2 years in and still loving it
  4. So if that's the case then that even the base models have the plug for them that if you plug in the side with the cruise control then it will work if it was just a blank one before? That would be useful as my JDM has an equivalent to GT spec apart from the cruise. If it works let me know it might be worth the investment.
  5. Self-employed plumber, Ive worked for myself since i was 20, Im 28 now. how time flies.
  6. Cheers Russ, so just ask him what wax he used and give it another coat next day? or just use the dodo juice you already have, wax is wax at the end of the day.
  7. Honestly it will be fine with just wax, its all i ever do when i machine polish a car. 2 coats of wax 24hrs in-between coats will last for months.
  8. id give my right arm for one of these. IMO no porsche could ever come close to having the same sense of occasion and theatre as this, too bad there not making it. Would be perfect if it didn't have the carbon spoiler.
  9. Just for you Ian spot the difference Sent from the golf club... How do they take modifying on the Jag owners club?? have they ever heard of plasti dip or do they think its something for their pipe
  10. Ahh thats the stuff the harlfords guy had for me. I just did a little reading.. http://www.detailing...php/t-5317.html Does the GTechniq G4 need to use a buffer? Im not too confident with these things especially since the guys on the link were saying i could distort the glass?! or something no buffer required, just severe elbow grease, and plenty of it. If by the time you've finished your arms not falling off and haven't broken a sweat then you haven't worked hard enough Its not even that expensive.. is the nano one the right one? http://gtechniq.com/...ss-nano-polish/ I want to give it a try... the thing is my window comes with a factory tint which i havent seen on or noticed on the zeds.. if i could just polish out the white powdery marks id be happy for a while plus i seen a miltek exhaust up for sale for good price!! Thats the one. Most windows are tinted on the inside so you may be ok, id rather not say if will be fine as i can't be sure. I can't see the tint being on the outside of the glass though. where are you based, i have some of the glass polish left over from when i did mine.

  12. Really enraging reading this, what a cretin! If its of any use at the end of last year some debris of what i suspect was a blown tire on the motorway got flicked up by the car in front and hit my windscreen on the drivers side. (scared the crap out of me), it left quite a bad scuff on the glass that i got off with Gtechniq G4 glass polish, Not sure yours is a lot of little chips or a scuff by the photo but it worked on mine. Heres how it looked when it happened.
  13. +1 Fingers crossed they get hit with the famous jag depreciation the f type convertible have dropped about 20k so far
  14. I knew it was a joke. I tried to put a smiley on it but I'm on the phone and I don't know what it was. If it helps the airbag ECU on my alfa played up and the srs light came on and it had to be changed as it can't be reset. No idea how much as it was under warranty
  15. Please take the Chrysler crossfire off of the list, hateful hateful car
  16. The car was 2 months old when I did it! Lol Claying paintwork can cause marring of the paint if the clay isn't kept clean and turned enough. it best to clay then machine polish. Watch this to give you some idea if/where you went wrong last time.
  17. I'd rather listen to that than some of the crap thats on the radio nowadays.
