  1. You have to press settings and hold it at the same time turn the volume knob. It should take you to a menu with 2 options then go to second one down and that's it. Loads of stuff to play with. Although most of it is not a good idea to play with.
  2. Not really sure, however, you can see I think. If you turn off the radio. Press and hold the settings button, turn the volume know anti clockwise about 40 clicks. it should take you to a hidden menu. From there scroll down to the camera option. I assume if you don't have the cam option then it can't be fitted. Pm me if you need help.
  3. I have a 1 and its awesome. But its getting a little slow. I would see what the differences in price are between a 2 and 3. If its not a massive difference then get a 3.
  4. Well worth it mate! Haven't had a chance to really use it. You can adjust the lines as well. So u can get closer if need.
  5. Yeah I know! The reason being is coz it plugs into the factory head unit. The wiring loom is a bit steep considering its just a few wires and oem male/female plugs. That's 70 quid. However its very well made and suppose r&d comes into it. You also could buy a cheaper camera but this one is very good and the night vision is very good too. The 20 quid one is good dying the day but rubbish at night. I know as I had one.
  6. Thats what u get for driving on busy streets like a bunch of twats.
  7. Quite easy to install. Although not sure on a roadster. ( there is extra info about roadsters in the guide) Very easy to set up. Pop over whenever, your more than welcome. If you get the gear come over and we'll fit it together.
  8. Results are really very good so far. I was doing the same will, leaving about 6 yards behind the car. Cam goes above the number plate. Its mounted next to the number plate light. It doesnt look like its gonna fit. But its spot on. Highly recommended mate
  9. Well, after a months of ownership of my 370z i am very pleased. However, the other night i was mucking about and booted the car from a standstill (naughty i know) but the clutch pedal got stuck down and would not come back up. I think there was someone talking about this last week. But i cant find the thread. Is this normal to "save" the clutch/gearbox from abuse? Should i take this into nissan to have a look?
  10. After a chat with chris i took the plunge and ordered up the loom and camera for my reversing cam install. Well after some talking with brian from the US forum i ordered the loom. Its basically 110 quid delivered. But 40 of that is delivery. The camera is a kenwood cmos 210 which is about 130 quid. But is very good and clear picture. Brian recommends this camera. However you could use a much cheaper option. The guide he sends over is pretty good but you do need to be brave. And use you head. Setting up the camera is very easy, the guide is very good and tells you step by step. This is something that i needed to do, as parking is not as easy as the 350 not much visability out of the rear is low. For an afternoons work, i am very pleased with the results.
  11. should be able to bring it. just have to see if it goes in the Zed.
  12. holy giblets!! that was quick!!!!!! you going to Valley park tonight? if so u could get it on the way through!!
  13. right, in my garage i have a y pipe. it has damage on one of the inlets around the flexi. i will post pictures. i have been told that this can be repaired by just cutting out the damage and welding a new flexi in. i could get this done but cant be bothered. its in pretty good nick other than the damage. however i wouldnt want someone to take it, fix it then sell it on to make a profit. so its free to anybody who reckons they can fix it. collection from my house! could also be a cuppa in there too.
  14. i went with livingstone warnham from here!! they came in loads cheaper than anywhere. the underwriter was markerstudy or something. a very good deal!!!!

  20. yep - same colour OK. Didn't mean to be negative btw - hopefuly you will have better luck than me - I'm sure it's possible to get a good colour match if the refurb people know what they're doing. (The wheels on the Z are such a big part of the look that I can't stand to leave them with damage on.) when i looked at my Black ed. the first thing i noted was a scuff on the alloy. when i picked her up the garage had repaired it and had done a very good job. it was a very good match. bristol nissan BTW.
