  1. Not very fast at all - I can't drift.
  2. Thanks - can't wait to get it running LOL - getting the aero at the front right to balance the car is going to be tricky. Hope we can get it to work well. Block isn't sleeved but I've gone for the patherfinder coolant setup. I think I should have converted to the HR coolant routing though - my main worry at the mo is that it'll over heat. I upgraded the exhaust valve only because they're the ones that get hammered by exhaust gasses that carry a lot more energy when turboing. Most turbo engines run either inconel or sodium filled valves so thought I should too. I'm looking forward to it too
  3. Only been able to work on the car when its quiet at work which is why its dragging on a bit - hoping to get it on track this year.
  4. Heres some pics of the current build:
  5. You could go with a new ECU or we can fix the high idle problem. We'd need the ECU to be sent to us. More info here: http://h-dev.co.uk/2016/08/18/350z-hr-vq35hr-high-idle-fix - give us a call if you'd like more info
  6. Still got one spot left at 2pm on the 27th - give us a call if you'd like to book in

  10. Yes - its a flywheel power estimate.
  11. Here's a video of a customer's VQ35DE engine we recently rebuilt. Running slightly higher than standard compression, HKS cams, H-Dev plenum spacer and exhaust system. A standard engine makes around 270bhp on our dyno. More info here: http://h-dev.co.uk/2...35-full-rebuild
  12. Everyone should have a PM now. Si8pny has grabbed the 9am slot on the 27th - thanks for such a quick response.
  13. Good to see all the slots are filled. To answers a few questions: 1) I can't do any more than 15% off I'm afraid 2) I'll PM everyone tomorrow regarding their booking as some people have asked about getting parts fitted before hand 3) I'll ask for a deposit to be paid, with details in the PM See you all on the 27th/17th
  14. Switchable maps are only available on some of the 350s as there is limited memory space in the ECU. Pops and bangs map should be possible but in general it only works well on very free flowing exhausts without cats.
  15. If you remove all the D1 stuff you should just be left with a plug that goes to the pedal sensor. Is that what you've done?
  16. It's most likely the sockets on the D1 controller - they dont fit that well and if there is any disconnection or noise on any wire the ECU will go into limp mode. I'd recommend removing the D1 and see how you get on - if its still a problem it could be the pedal position sensor but it's unlikely.
  17. Yes, they're £24.99 - also, they're white now rather than orange Give us a call on 01635 247477 to order
  18. Cheers - its a bit of a work in progress at the moment - we're adding things all the time.
  19. Should work without signing up to facebook - if not, then I'm not sure why
  20. Been slowly getting on with the 350. Engine has been test fitted. Subframe is currently out of the car as we're fitting solid bushes and uprated diff bushes. Loads of pics here:
  21. If this is the problem affecting your car then it's probably just annoying - shouldn't do any damage I wouldn't have thought
  22. We had a car with a similar problem. Turned out to be the ECUs control of the exhaust cam timing - it was overshooting the target by a large amount. Remapped the target exhaust cam timing and it was nice and smooth again
  23. That probably more to do with the regs than being performance related. I've been chatting to Simon McBeath as I'm thinking of getting a DJ Eng wing - you get "free" advise on aero setup when you buy, so I'll let you know what he suggests.
