  1. Glad you got it sorted.
  2. Assuming these are SS braided hoses, I'll have one for the clutch please (DE).
  3. Good to see your sticking with it Chris..............for a little while at least. So why the change to the V3? Is it upgraded ?

Who's gonna tune your Syvecs? Ryan G ?
  6. Yes it was me that had a brass oil feed nozzle crack. Luckily I found it when it was weeping before it gave up. It was probably caused by the over tightening of the NPT fitting from the pipe to the nozzle. (previous owner) Just to clarify in your write up above, it's the SS one that is the upgraded one, the brass one is the weaker one. My V2 has been fitted since 2005 and done over 30k miles including 4 track days.
  7. As said, it does depend on areas. I knew in most places it was dearer to garage due to high potential for damage caused in garages. The surprise to me is that it's cheaper on the road than on a drive. That really don't make sense. Also just a heads up for those who are insured in a garage - look at your small print. I've have noticed on mine that if I Park at my home address between the hours of 2300 and 0700 it HAS to be in the garage or I am NOT INSURED! Pretty @*!# if you decide to have a drink and have forgot to put the car away.
  8. If you push the ESP button and get the light on the dash, then it has disabled the traction control. So it will allow the rear wheels to spin and loose traction without interfering. The Stability control remains on, so for example if you go too hot into a corner and the car thinks its unstable, it will brake individual wheels to try and keep you on the road. I believe if you pull the fuse it turns everything off including ABS! so be aware. If you want traction control and stability control Off, but ABS reman on, the you need to disconnect the Yaw sensor that is under the center console/ashtray area.
  9. If I'm honest none of the cars you've spoke about really do anything for me.... EVO and Scooby Just shout chav, r32 epic car but look too dated now, r33 probably the best of the bunch. Problem also is your talking about power and reliability on an old car and that's difficult. If it were me, I'd be getting another supra. Not sure on prices atm, but a nice TT6 speed with BPU mods will give you a very reliable 400hp. Engine and gearbox are VERY strong. Mine had 400hp for over 150k miles without an issue. Just might have to look at refreshing suspension components depending on the mileage.
  10. I may pop and say hello, whats the timings?
  11. I love Snetterton, it is a great track. Not sure I'll be in a position to be able to go this time, but I'll see what I can do. If your interested, here is a vid from last time I went - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82331-a-few-laps-of-me-on-track-at-snetterton-300/
  12. I did this back in September but never got round to sorting out the video. It was a novice day run by MSVT. They are always well organised days, I've done a few with them now and would recommend them to anyone considering a trackday. I would also highly recommend Snetterton 300. A good mix of twisties and a couple of long straights. Lovely track surface, lots of run off etc...suits the Zed quite well. So on to the vid.........I wasn't taking it too seriously just having fun. Ignore my odd line down the pit straight as my mate was on the pit wall filming, so I was getting closer to him. Also, look out for the mx5 driver running out of talent on the last corner of the last lap For anyone interested, a bit of a write up on one I did back in march 2013. http://www.350z-uk.c...rton-vid-added/
  13. I have the one piece polished inlet pipe sitting in the garage ready to fit with the 3.12" pulley Just finding the right time to fit it as it'll need a re-tune. It's a good point about the fluid/Bat covers. They weren't fitted when I got the car as the Tein bonnet lifters were on, so I'm just used to it. Think I've got them in the garage though so might look into getting them back on, It'd probably look a bit neater.
  14. Not as pretty as most on here but I prefer to drive it
  15. Big update yesterday - http://news.xbox.com/2014/03/xbox-one-march-update Thank god they sorted the TV @ 50hz . Just trying it now and all seems to be good. A massive improvement on what it was, so I can now actually watch TV through the xbone.
  16. What a boring couple.....................probably about time you got off your arses and done something a bit adventurous and live a little!.....
  17. That's a good point. I'm pretty sure mine have faded a lot over the years. I wonder if they can be re-burned with a blow torch or something? To answer my own question I found this - http://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/572777-diy-burnt-blue-titanium-exhaust-tips-anodizing-titanium.html Have a look its well cool!
