I just thought I'd update this thread as its all sorted. So I contacted DW about my faulty injector and they were quite helpful. Although they do not normally sell injectors separately they would sort something out. I sent them a copy of my original injector flow data sheets and they located/manufactured an new injector to match the faulty one and posted it to me. Unfortunately, I still had to pay for it as they weren't under warranty any longer. I fitted the new injector and put all other injectors back to their original positions as per when it was originally fitted and tuned. I also took my Kinetix SSV to a local engineering company with a good reputation and got the welds touched up. Once all fitted back on I leak checked the intake and all was good. Been running a month or so now and its it feels awesome once more and been running sweet ever since.

Fancied a bit of a change and possibly a more aggressive look, so fitted some eyelids and re-plastidipped my front lip. I do like it, but just wondered what combo people prefer. Looks lovely. I'm another one that didn't like the V3 until I saw this, think its the colour, just suits it. (just don't get the rear!) Looking forward to seeing it with the wheels on.

I would recommend contacting Mark @ Abbey Motorsport. He has Uprev tuned a large amount of Supercharged Zeds over the years, so is most likely to have something suitable.

As said, you have the 'correct'size fitted. The harsh ride often has a lot to do with the sidewall and pressure so different manufacturers vary. What do you currently have fitted?

Pretty sure the 2 week thing is a myth.

This is a pretty common place for corrosion on the 350z and mine has some there although not that bad. I suspect we'll start seeing a lot more about leaks here in the not too distant future.

Ah yes, I remember reading that.....I think the general opinion in the end was that if it does it because you've added a flamer kit or purposely over fueled it was a bit lame, if its a bi-product of power mods it was cool That's how I see it anyway. I did wonder myself as it does pop and splutter a bit and I have some blackening on the rear skirt, but your never behind yourself so don't know. I can only imagine when at WOT on load and the exhaust is nice and hot it could be better! (feel a bit of a chav now)

That is a rare beast! But it is also awful! The wheels and that rear in particular makes me wanna puke.

I had a mate ask for a video of the sound of my exhaust set up. So after a drive out today and it was nice and warm I got the camera out to film it........ Needless to say, after I watched it back I decided to go back out when it was dark. I apologise for my childishness.

Yep this is what I'd recommend. The dipstick is a very bad design, but I really don't understand how so many people have trouble reading it. - As on any car, park on a level surface. - Do it when the engine is cold so the oil has settled and is at its thickest. - Pull the dipstick out in one move, without turning it. - Once out, quickly read the level. - Its a lot easier if once its out you flip it over and read the level on the back of the stick. If your struggling to see the level its probably not right, i.e too high or too low. As Dan said, do not leave it months without checking it. Personally every week, or before any long journey. Not sure I would put tip-ex on it for fear of it coming off in the oil Heat/oil resistant paint ...maybe.

Think I recognise it, looks like it might be down the road from here........ Need to take a trip up there in the Zed, bit tight in places though.

And that is why. You WILL be driving harder and holding the revs longer because you enjoy the noise. Worth getting a re-map though to get things running sweet.

No, your not on your own! I don't like the look of the 18" Rays very much at all. Visually I prefer the touring wheels as the standard option.

£70 is about 50 litres @ £1.35 per litre. The Zed has an 80 litre tank? 200 miles from 50 litres is about 18mpg, so about right if doing short journeys and blasts. Yeah, This. A full 80 litres will cost you about 100 quid so what your actually using is about right for regular short journies. Incidentally, regular half mile journies will do the car no good at all. Your oils will never be getting up to temperature.

There is throttle position reset procedure and idle air reset procedure. both are in the guides section . Have a go at them before you spend any money. Also, poorly batteries do funny things to the zed. If its gone into deep discharge probably worth getting a new one.
