  1. I contacted the seller and he assures me that this will work on my Zed, so I suppose I'll order one and see. Unless anyone on here knows any different?
  2. Thanks for the input. Bit more than I wanted to spend really, would be nice to know if the ebay ones work.
  3. As above, I was wanting to keep an eye on things such as boost, fuel pressure, oil temps/pressure and water temp without filling my car with gauges. I've seen this; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ELM-327-1-4a-Blue ... 218wt_1139 and was wondering if it would do the job. I have also found an Android app that's meant to be pretty good so I can monitor it on my Desire HD when I haven't got my laptop with me. http://www.appbrain.com/app/torque/org.prowl.torque Does anyone know if this will be suitable?
  4. Bad luck, hope you get it sorted without too much hassle. I don't trust ESP one bit.
  5. I was typing Black straight away, then stared at them for a bit longer and then started thinking white was ok.......mmmm Toss a coin.

    My new 350Z

    Welcome. Nice pics
  7. Good advise. That's what I did and it has saved me £k's. The only thing is you don't get the satifaction of creating it, but then again you don't get the heartache either. So all things considered I decided that was the way to go.
  8. Opinions vary but the stock engine should be safe around the 400 ish mark some are happy higher than that. I would think the comment was aiming at brakes, cooling clutch etc... At 400bhp (fly) I would think the clutch is capable as long as your not drag starting every 5 mins (although its torque that kills clutches not hp). My car still has the stock clutch. It has done 13k total and around 10k of that is with the SC fitted. However I will change the clutch and fly when it wears out to something aftermarket. The brembos are good enough for the road but decent pads, braided lines and good fluid would be advised. Again, mine are still standard and I haven't had a problem with them.........yet. I will be doing the above before any track use though.
  9. The Stillen kit that you linked will just the basic one without intercooler etc... The general consensus is that that will give you around 350bhp. To get more out of it (if this wasn't enough) would cost you more pennies, in which case the HKS or Vortech kit would be a good choice for around 400bhp. If it were me, I would buy one of the second hand kits for sale on here as they will be ready to go ( minus the tune) and will save you alot of £. If after you realise its not for you, you can sell it on, on here. I know how you feel about the car, I have loved the look of the 350z for a long time but every time I drove one I was under-whelmed.......until I drove a supercharged one. In my opinion it should have come out the factory with similar power. I love it!
  10. Just with double sided foam strips. You can but it in rolls from any motor factor for a few quid. Cheers guys, Spoiler Depot 'piggyback' rear spoiler, Kaminari PU front lip, Ings +1 skirts, Speed-Racing rear apron.
  11. Na, not lowered but the lip, skirts and apron make it look a lot lower. And the fact that the leaves were a couple of inches deep Luckily it didn't leaf any tracks. If it had I think the missus would have had me raking them as I don't think she approved of me parking there in case I spoilt it. Will do. Thanks I suppose that's the trouble with buying a car that someone else has already modified, but hopefully one day it'll be my car. Cheers. You have a cottage there? that's A pretty good route for a to Sandringham from there, if you wanted to stay off the main roads http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&do ... 0f3a36e1b2 The road quality on the Sandringham estate is pretty good too.
  12. Number 1 is favourite so far then. It is my favorite but I wondered if the car was too small for the calendar.
  13. Lovely motors. Loving yours Martin with the 16 spoke wheels on.
  14. Welcome Tidy looking Zed. "no real plans" ............That'll change.
  15. Had the Zed a couple of months now and really enjoying it. Its one of those cars that you just wanna keep driving even when there is nowhere you need to go..... So me and the missus went for a lovely Autumnal drive for a few hours round the north Norfolk coast and on the Sandringham estate. We had an excellent day. So we parked up for a little stroll and I thought it made nice photo opportunity. Car wasn't particularly clean and I didn't have a camera but think for phone pictures they're not too bad. (HTC Desire HD) Thought about e-mailing one to martin for calendar consideration but can't decide what one/s. 1 2 3 4 5 6 Which do you think would be suitable?
  16. Well, never seen another 350 in my town until today. New bloke moved in next door today and just looked outside and there is a 350z on the drive. I think its even the same colour as mine! Its a JDM 02 plate, Anyone on here??
