  1. Good episode..thoroughly enjoyed it And that F10 M5
  2. Not my cup of tea..for a min there i thought Antique Roadshow was on the tele tonite
  3. yes exactly, but you will still watch them play.. the same with Top Gear..the love hate relationship We'd all still watch Top Gear even though it's rubbish as there is nothing better on tele on a Sunday night
  4. Agree with what they said about whiplash injury and fake claims though ..well said. Yes tonight's episode is a bit rubbish...they were on the right track last couple of weeks but it looks like the have slipped back to their old ways
  5. That's a good results I don't think they will replace any sensors..don't think it had anything to do with sensors to be honest
  6. what year is the car mate? The only other recommendation is get him to ring up BMW UK to see if they will make a goodwill contribution to the repair bills It's easier to put forward a case if he has full BMWSH Like what Fuse has said, BMW is well aware of the problems but refuses to acknowledge the problem and call for a recall. It will probably costs them a fortune and they make a lot more money from customers taking out their extended warranty. This sucks..i know Beginning to think the motor industry is full of shrewd ruthless thieving stealers Unfortunately i don't think you could claim warranty or take out a warranty after the car has been in for the repair. The terms and conditions on their warranty states that you are not allowed to make a claim for the first month of the warranty
  7. Have a read through this http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136258 In summary, well documented problem with BMW 2.0L 4cylinder petrol engines(and some 6 cylinder petrol) especially those with Efficient Dynamics auto start and stop technology-built dates post September 2007. Main problems faulty coils, injectors. Remedy?-replacement of coils, injectors, spark plugs and software update. Is this a long term fix? - no one knows some people end up replacing all 4 coils, injectors and plugs and yet the same problem reccurs. Hope this helps. Oh..worth getting BMW's very own extended warranty if the car is out of manufacturer warranty as there seem to be a reccuring theme for this problem..just my two pence
  8. Most new BMW E9x(E90/E91/E92/E93) has quite harsh and firm ride due to the standard Bridgestone runflat tyres..the tramlining takes a bit of getting used to but if u have come from a 350Z..probably not a lot of difference. And the ride is worse in those with M Sport versions compared to the SE versions because of the sportier M-Sport sports suspension. Nevertheless i'd rather have the M Sport as they look much better with the bodykit and much nicer interior and sport seats:thumbs: The M cars(1M/M3) however haven't got any runflats..standard non runflats with tyre repair kit.
  9. I have had the convertible E93 325i 6 cylinder petrol engine version back in 2007 when it was first out. Pretty much trouble free motoring and plenty of bhp and torque. The one in the ad looks like the facelift/LCI version looking at the angel eyes headlights and taillights. The BMW diesel engines are a lot more reliable than their efficient dynamics petrol engines(known problems with coils, injectors, HPFP-high pressure fuel pump problems). And the turbodiesel engines can easily be remapped to really good bhp gains. And not to mention very economical to run..average around 40-45mpg. Definitely a good buy. And that car should still be under BMW manufacturer's warranty..extended warranty is a "must" for older cars that are out of warranty if you do some research on the BMW E90post.com forum.
  10. watched both as well..Ashley is a talented dancer
  11. Needs spacer and lowering what's the point of having the car on 3 wheels
  12. What a **** Too many scumbags around Hope you get it sorted. I bought some Farecla G3 Compound from Halford http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_255240 Bought them to get rid of some scratches on my E92, i have yet to try them. Read about them on the detailing forum for removing deep scratches...worth a try maybe but if you could catch the scratch with your nails..it might be a job for the bodyshop
  13. if only money is no object Ferrari seems to be getting really good at making hardtop convertibles(that includes the California)..u can't even tell it's a drop top when the roof is on..the lines flow very well with the rest of the bodywork..work of art that is
  14. God knows how much i have paid the City Council for various traffic offence ..f**king thieves
