Welcome to the forum.
Thats a realistic budget expectation. Keep an eye on the zeds for sale section
-
wow how come your getting tickets so cheap then
We are exhibitors. So we get cheap tickets.
The price hike on the door will be so people book in advance so they have an idea of how to alot space. Also it gets very busy and means most exhibitors can be waived straight in.
-
I have also moved the list to the front page so as not to clutter the thread
-
dont think i can make it no more since the weekend befor i would have just come back from my road trip round europe but if i change my mind il just pay at the gate if thats posible?
From the Application Form
exhibitors turning up on the day cannot be guaranteed entrance to the event.
On the day admission to Harewood and the event is £11.00 for adults, £9.90 for seniors, £6.60 for children (aged 4 to 16 years)
Sorry - it also goes to show - you are saving a fair bit booking as an exhibitor!

Why still in the body shop?
Had my front bumper and all 4 wheels done since i saw you at squires.
Looking forward to seing the other cars in the light this time.
Waiting on parts, exploratory in to som minro cracking/bubbleing round the spoiler turned up more work than expected. Courier didnt turn up on Friday so Im still waiting
Place its at likes to take its time and get it right - he has a realy good rep tho - Bloke brought his mini up from London to be sprayed at his shop.

Unfortunatly i think due to the processes involved you may be hard pushed to find many places that do it. Try classic car restoration places or yank restoration places they may be able to help. found these on google but no idea what they are like.

Yeah but its funny.

Premium bose system had a sub and amp was in the boot.
Not all models had it so if yours didnt you may need a bit of kit to fit one inc hu and it may be easier to buy an aftermarket head unit.
You do see the Bose systems for sale occasionally but most folks dont rate them. If you really want to get one im sure some on the forum will have one in their shed i imagine.
But i would have a look in the ice section for some advice

So.. i need to clean and wash the car. Then cover the missus in marmite and take her out in to the countryside for a good ride.
Cool now i just need the car back
-
They are on wheelbase at a similar price. And on zito uk website that design isnt there so it may be that it is the end of the line stock being sold cheap. Made in Taiwan. And that is very cheap tho so i would be a little nervous.
-
Mines a 53 but only on 46k. So plenty of life in the old girl still.
-
I had this with my 350z towards the end. You wont like the fix - its a bit expensive - the 370z Over the moon with it and feeling is definately back
Ill suggest it to the missus and send you her response

With my zed
After brake/hub fiasco and now back in the bodyshop i must admit im starting to wonder what im doing. So far this year once all the bits turn up im going to be 2k down and i have hardly had her off the drive. Im working out year on year spend is in the 2k area so - maybe i should ditch for a classic?
Really doubting myself..
so Ive ordered some carbon to see if that cheers me up.
Anyone else question their sanity sometimes!!

Ancilary belts are an easy job and relativly cheap. Charge will depend on labour rate but it should not be expensive.
There is a guide on the forum iirc and traders in here like alex sell parts so you can source yourself.
Brake disc wise it is entirely up to you. There are many options from EBC which are cheaper aftermarket with Performance Friction and the likes at the pricy end.
DBA are sort of in the middle and are well used on the forum. Pad wise again there are a lot of choices. I experimented with Cosworth from Horsham dev but lots of folks run Ferodo and again at the budget end but still fine are EBC.
Have a browse through the Traders section for guys like cougar store, horsham, MW tec and many more and try PM ing Zmanalex as well (see member traders).

Tissue paper and spit i think given how easy they dent.
-
Looking like I may not be able to make this one chaps. Car is likly to still be in the bodyshop

Decat pipe? But the rubber looks fine and the wire has rotted by the looks. Weird!
There are a host of aftermarket y pipes depending on your budget.
My guess would be flexys make it easier to fit and will help reduce vibrations.

Ive heard some silver bulbs are better than others. Unfortunatly tho im not sure what would be best to get.
Alex is worth a shot for the front lip air dam strip.
