Ill bring my picnic set ( tho people will have to help if you bring as many as last time! Table isnt Huge but more than enough for tea/coffee making and such.

I saw some in a dark matt grey with a polished rim the other day ... they were v nice.

Go an have a chat with a bodyshop chap you won't get the same quality pf finish otherwise. I would guess for the wing you are looking 150 to 200 depending on how bad it is (I.e. how much they need to blend in) and how reasonable the bodyshop is. If its just light damage maybe less but most have a minimum charge. If you are lucky it may just a case of rubbing down a bit of blending and laquer but I doubt below £100. Accident repair places can sometimes be more expensive than profesional resprayers. So get a few quotes over the phone before you pick one. Also have a look on your local boy racer website. They can often point towards cheap spray shops and recommendations.

You had any of the reported reception issues? According to BBC fair few complaints have been made. They put the antenna in the bottom left corner which means you shield it when holding it.

I changed all 4 for re50's even though the front has at least 4-5mm on them. Not worth the risk of saying "well I saved 200 quid" as the ambulance crew cut me out...

Ha ha yeah ill try that ... not sure if mine is still free as they are paying for the wheel to be repainted. Nice wheels dan was the price good? I've found em cheaper than net most times.

Just got my bridgestones re50's ( proper z fitment) at Autodynamics in sheffield Lovely bunch of chaps they matched camskill for price but charged for fitting and ballancing on their new fancy machines. Talked me through all the equipment had a natter about wheels cars and such. Turns out they are getting a 4 wheel alignment machine and need cars to practice on so asked if they could do mine for free when they get it The torqued all the wheels up and were happy to hold the old tyres for me until we can pick em up later. And off I went... now the bad bit... got home and noticed a nick on the trailing edge on on of the spokes the paint had been chipped off and I had just had them painted So I rang up, they asked me to come back, turns out the showroom is covered in cctv. They poured over the video to see how it had happened but the technician is stood in the way when fitting tyres. And some bits are a bit in the distant so it was inconclusive there was nothing specifically to show the wheel getting damaged but plenty of chances when it could have been done without it being noticed. I explained I was certain it was new , it wasn't there yesterday, (I would have noticed at harewood when I cleaned them. And they had just been repainted. Its could have been made by accidentally catchin the wheel with a tool. And that was that , phoned my body shop, quick quote for chip repair and they refunded the cost of the repair No arguing no having to squeeze money out of them. Now I have allways had good service from these guys but great to see when things go a bit wrong they sort it out quickly. They said they are going to look at changing their procedures to keep sure they spot this sort of problem before the car leaves. Would I use them again? Without doubt! Top notch service like that is rare. I would recomend them to anyone after alloys too. They were boxing a set up for a 350z in hertfordshire and they looked mint.

What sort of noise? There are many possible culprits and you could potentially spend a lot of money fixing something that ain't broke only to find its something else.

Just been out and had a good look at them and there is still a reasonable tred on the rear so i think ill probably keep them as spare or for a track day or flog em.

Re50's couldn't get vredstein for the front.

Cheers for the responses. Well once they have em off. Ill have a good look at them and if they look ok ill see if anyone wants em as track tyres or something. Or I might use them to make a planter.

Before I get a talking too this isnt a for sale - im replacing my RE40's with RE50's but they still have a couple of mm on the back and plenty (4MM)on the front. Is it even worth me keeping these either for another member/sell or incase of a puncture? or is it a case of no point ditch em?

Had quite a lot of respray work done on my GM cos I was being picky. I can't see difference easyly but maybe he was just pretty good. If when I sell it they ask ill just explain its cos I'm a picky git

TBH chap do you really want to risk it with a budget filter? Id save your pennies and get a decent one if you can wait
